Are videos absolutely horrifically painfully slow to download for anyone else?

I usually just end up watching videos on youtube. I'm downloading the 2013 video podcast right now and it says 2.7gb / 23 HOURS. Are you kidding me? My connection is 40mbps, what is this shit?

I can't use the boxee box app anymore because of how awful the speeds are. Yeah, last 3-4 months the speeds have plummeted.

I just stick to YT.

Jeff said before it was often because of Google DNS, so I went back to my ISP DNS and it's even worse. :(

That was weeks ago, there's no way this is still true unless they use the world's worst Content Delivery Network.

And there are plenty of people without Google DNS that are consistently reporting problems - while everything is downloading speedily for me at the moment, GB can be extremely slow at times.
 
 
I really liked Sleeping Dogs. One of my favorite games this year but these QL make me love the game even more by showing me potential I never realized while playing it myself.

Oh my god, Vinny dicking around for 30 minutes before beginning to break the DLC by hijacking the limo and trying to run over the dudes standing around the mission point. Priceless.

For a while I had a lot of issues with the flash player on the site, so I ended up watching videos almost exclusively through the fan made iOS app. However, recently that has been giving me serious speed problems even though I'm on a 100Mb line.

If the new site is hosted using the same Amazon CDN, I really hope CBSi money is used to have their content mirrored on multiple EC2 sites worldwide.
 
I liked the part where he was so close to starting the DLC, but then couldn't resist beating one more guy up, which led to him eventually getting lit up by a boat full of cops. And then karaoke.
