Gish is awesome. I was totally blown away SOME folks still had the balls to make platform games, and make them awesome. Mindbogglingly creative game play. You can break *everything*. Physics and pumping soundtrack.

This's the best $20 you'll spend all year. Do it!

Funny thing is, most people wont hear of it, cos its not a 3D fps. Now dont get me wrong, I'm currently *adoring* half life 2, but Gish actually inovates the *heck* out of anything the big labels put out.

Gish is a riot! One of the best platform games for PC, of all time, if you ask me, and certainly one of the most creative. The game is even available for Linux and OSX, so OSS zealots and Mac fans can enjoy it as well

gish shines in the tradition of 2 player multiplayer pc gaming on the same screen!

I downloaded the demo, must try it later. Looks like these guys also did Pontifex, which was brilliant

edit: its pretty meh. uninstalled it right after getting 3-4 levels. It's not really THAT fun. It has high production values for an indie game tho

It's a decent game...I played it when the demo first came out.

It takes a bit of getting use to, and can be frustrating at times...but that's just because it's not a run-of-the-mill platformer. It's at least worth d/l'ing the demo.

It's very average, the gameplay is interesting but I got bored very quickly. That loud soundtrack is damn annoying. It's a nice effort, but dont waste your time

it looks like it could be interesting, a metroid spiderball like ability is always nice but that was the only good ability. The problem is the jumping blows and the levels are bland looking so it can often be hard to see where there is to explore. Its just all sorta this murky blackness.

It's very interesting. I like it, the main character just needs to move faster. The jumping is a bit odd, as the machanics are like a spring. Small jump at first, keep jumping on the contraction and gain height. You can slide or squeeze through tight spaces, grow hard do destroy bricks and enemies and get sticky like the spiderball in metroid.
