Wow, a Gizmodo breaking news story about five 4chan threads. Gawker's really gotten its shit together since they went bankrupt the first time.

I wasn't going to chime in but aftering making me choke on two puffs for my 4:20, I gotta tip my hat to you for this one.

Jesus wow.
Thinking they're real is the dumbest thing ever.
Running an article on it is somehow dumber.

As others have said, probably not real. But hey, if we're going to run with a story that paints Trump supporters as fools, this has my complete support.

4chan is ultimate proof that pretending to be an idiot will attract actual idiots so I don't really blame them for not being able to tell the difference

Even though these are likely fake, it's weird to me that you need to register to vote.

I haven't read up about it though, are you not able to just show up with your ID/passport/drivers license on voting day?

If they are real, It is funny because it shows how dumb these trolls are. If they are fake it is also funny because the trolls are being trolled and ridiculed.

There are a bunch of twitter accounts with people like this calling for the rain of frogs and shit. I watched someone that made a RAP video, and had it cladded with pepe memes. It's REALLY fucking weird lol. I don't get why they all want to be considered frogs and centipedes.

I'm not saying these are real, but they are very plausible. If you've been a polling station worker you'd know.

A bunch of those voting posts are probably fake, but are we really back to thinking 4chan types are just a bunch of harmless ironic kids having a laugh?

After Gamergate? Sad Puppies?

And Trump?

Whatever 4chan was years back, it has produced an army of people who take all that bullshit very seriously.

That is unfortunately true.

The virgin one was the best. Obviously...trolls trolling each other.

Although I bet there are plenty on both sides who thought they were registered and ended up not being able to vote.

And the LOL guise it just trolls also led to pol being a nazi smegma pit. So yeah I can believe it being true considering the intelligence of pol users and trump supporters.

Why do you even need to register to vote? I'm curious, because this is not the case in my country. Any obvious reason?

Are you serious? I'm questioning any country where it doesn't require its citizen to register to vote.

That's ridiculous. Without registration, you are risking double votes, non-citizen voting, as well as other voting tampering issues.

These guys are pieces of shit, but they're not dumb. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if they were in line having the most civil of conversations with people they utterly despise. They hide in plain sight. Don't be fooled by the shitposts.

You've got to be registered a month before the election in Texas.

I'm curious as well. Excuse me looking like an idiot in asking, but what makes showing ID on the day of such a bad concept? And if registering must exist, why can't that be done day of?

A lot of them (4chan Trump supporters) are probably not old enough to vote though.

Gizmodo taking the L themselves here thinking these are remotely serious and not troll posts aimed to upset Trump voters on /pol/.

Come on.

Eh, we get a personalized ballot sent to us at home, we show our ID or Passport at the voting booth and vote.

No need to register and every citizen can vote without having to worry about anything beforehand.

Well, you are registered automatically. Every single person receives some sort of registration sheet with his personal details and barcodes etc. way ahead of the election, and when the day has come you just go there, sheet and ID are cross-checked and you are good to go.

Having to register ahead of an election to be eligible for participation just seems like a strange idea to me, that's why I'm asking.

Gross, just read the pictures. "Retard" and "kys" without any repercussions. That's disgusting, and is a good reminder to never see what 4Chan is. :/

Sweet justice if Donald's voter fraud talk inadvertently misled lots of his supporters into believing there wasn't a registration process nor any rules at all.

>Be me
>Be Election Day
>Put on Make America Great Again hat
>Walk to polling place
>Line up
>Get told: "Excuse me, but you aren't allowed to vote."
>"What the fuck you mean I can't vote? This is America!"
>Get told: "Andy, you're twelve years old. You're in my daughter's algebra class. And stop cursing."
>Fuck this county, man
