This year I will no longer be calling the sad sacks out that still watch this show after 2 complete seasons solely in order to complain here.

I will merely continue to only watch shows I enjoy and giggle inside. =D

Ha... ha...

But really, I'm going to see what some of the reviews/GAF consensus are on this to see if I should start watching again. When Ryan Murphy isn't being an condescending, evil, narcissistic prick, he actually can write some really fantastic television. I don't think Glee season 3 will be good, but I want it to be.

And there's been enough criticism levied against Murphy plus the new writing team that maybe there will be a change for the better?

More Naya Riviera and Dianna Agron hotness and less of super annoying twits like Lea Michele and Chris Colfer please. And hey, how about coming up with a new idea instead of constantly rehasing the same ones?

Please have non schizophrenic, coherent characters.

Yeah, I'd like them to stop making Sue bi-polar. I was sick of her "I want to destroy the Glee club!"/"I want to secretly help the Glee club!" on/off switch by about the tenth time it happened.

Preach. Dianna > everyone else.

Used to watch it with my sister, but I tuned out after they changed the character personalities so many times in one season that I got whiplash. There's like, zero consistency with most of the cast and it sucks, because the show was hilarious.

The fact that Mike is a main character now is awesome, though.

I'm very confident that Ryan Murphy has identified all of the show's issues and worked diligently to remedy them.

His impeccable track record speaks for itself.

I'm hoping that American Horror Story distracts him long enough for the other writers to swoop in and save the show.

FUCK. That's why I was feeling slightly queasy about not bothering with a cable scrip. I barely watch TV, figured I could get my NFL fix at sports bars, but I do not have a solution for watching Glee. Fuck.

You got rid of your TV?

One thing I do continue to enjoy regardless of how crappy everything else might be are the music performances. Except for when they do showtunes/anything from Broadway, which I cannot stand. Hopefully they have some good selections lined up.

It's a show that never fails to make me smile and cheer me up. No, it's not consistent, and at this point after 2 seasons it doesn't make any claims of this. It's not the Wire either, guise.

It's just fun.

Blinded by the luminous glory that is David Bowie's physical manifestation.

Hulu a week or so later. But you have to keep up with that.

Also will Kurt stop being a sterotypical TV gay and actually be somewhat likeable?

I have some good news for you! Amber Riley says “We’re doing a lot more Broadway songs this season. The first couple episodes are very, very Broadway.”

My two favorite performances from last season were both mashups of songs from musicals, but I don't really care for them on their own.

Love the songs from the episode tonight. (They are on iTunes already) They are upbeat and fun and it gives me good vibes for the premiere tonight! :)

I'm excited, yay! The comments for the first episode are positive so far and the songs for today's episode are here.

"We Got The Beat" has been in my fucking brain the whole week.

Glee has the opposite problem of Dexter.

The supporting characters are great. The leads are terrible.

That's Shameless. Glee's supporting characters are only sometimes great (and the show would be much better off without Jayma Mays's character).

Really? I think Shameless has an all-around good cast.

Yeah, calling the entire supporting cast of Glee "great" was an overstatement on my part. Mercedes, for one, is particularly aggravating, and nobody has figured out what to do with Sue. But you still have genuinely great ones like Brittany, Santana, and Puck.

In my opinion, almost all of the show's problems involve the four main characters: Schu, Rachel, Finn, and Kurt.

Schu and Kurt are the absolute worst. Both need to die in a fire.

Agreed 100% on all characters on both sides. Santana = best character and performance in the show
