They actually remembered Sue's sister and Quinn's oddity at the end of the season, so I guess I'm pleased so far, although now Quinn seems completely out of character, lolz. Oh well, you gotta take the bad with the good I guess.

Dianna w/short hair = the sex

I know, right? So much win. The other girls on the show aren't ugly by any means, but it's like bringing a knife to a nuclear missile fight.

I'm still hoping they don't push Sue into complete cartoon character land now that they
bumped off her sister.

BTW wikipedia says the best Glee guest character will make another appearance on episode 2 this season (it's obviously
Idina Menzel
), it ALMOST makes up for no shirtless Chord Overstreet.

"I've got pepperoni slices in my bra."

"Those are your nipples."

lol

Semi-decent so far. Hilarious that neither Sam nor Charice (last season's big new stars) actually stuck.

Quinn is fucking hideous now. You're all drunk.

I wish my song recognition percentage was higher. It was like 50% in season one, 20% in season two, and looks to only be dropping for three.

That's not Tobolowsky.

All my complaints answered and addressed by this sequence. The best product of season 2 reappears with a song I know, yes!

Why did the piano burst into flames? lol

"Theres pepperoni in my bra" :lol

Im enjoying it so far - the music numbers have been fun, Schu isn't grating yet, and its light and funny.

Lindsay sounded better here than she ever did on the Glee project. Sounds like someone forced her to improve and rely on her lower register. Her voice sounded full and powerful, and less screechy...

I liked it. Funniest line of the night for me came from next week's promo, however:

Teacher: What is the capital of Ohio?
Brittany: O.

It was pretty good, already getting tired of Finn though. He is hardly a good singer but yet always has to have a problem with any other male lead outside Kurt

Had a problem with Puck, had a problem with Sam, has a problem with Blaine...ok we get it damn!

I'll be really happy if Glee keeps coming back to this Rachel/Kurt storyline (and variations on it) throughout the season. It's impressive.

Their post owning scene in the car was flawless.

Wow, very surprised. Setting themselves up for actual character progression and plot lines that last more than 2 episodes.

Blaine - there are no words *swoon*

Very good first episode and I like that they're going back to a Broadway focus and not top 40. Interested to see where these storylines go.

I was caught off guard the show was back on. I checked my Tivo to see what episode recorded when I saw it was Season 3 Episode 1. Seems so soon. I feel like Season 2 just ended. But hey, I'm glad. Sadly I'm too tired to watch it tonight. But tomorrow I'll have this and Survivor now.

no. it's Modern Family night tomorrow.

That was remarkably restrained for Glee, which is a very good sign.

The episode itself wasn't that amazing, but it did set up some plotlines that could lead to something interesting.

Sad about no Sam or Lauren though.

You're all a bunch of Glee-otches!

Thought the season opener was excellent. Hopefully the season keeps it up.

it was a good episode, and I hope they keep it up.

Of course Sue suffered another sea change. And I'm just waiting for the kids to put on a show that—who'd have guessed?— Mr. Schuster decides to star in.

It was an alright premiere.

It's difficult to judge, because, while the characters were once again different from where they were last season: Santana flip flopping for the millionth time between cheerios and glee club, Quinn bizarrely shunning her friends, etc. who knows how long any of that will last? With the new writers, one would hope for some continuity, but the show has an abysmal track record in that area, so who knows who it will go? I hope it sticks.

I like the theme of Finn (and possibly others) not knowing what to do after high school. I hope they fully explore that this season, but I expect them to get sidetracked with tater tots or something equally irrelevant. Kurt and Rachel's struggle to leave their hometown for brighter things is well done, and I hope they continue with that as well.

Schue and Emma are terrible, and completely suck the life out of every scene.

Sue is an embarrassing, unfunny cartoon at this point, and nothing she does means anything.

Song selection was hit or miss. I liked Blaine's number and the competitive high school musical bunch, as well as the final performance, but the rest were flat.
