God I hate Geauga Lake.

It should get better now that the company that owns Cedar Point owns Geauga Lake, right?

RIGHT???

I see no real valid reason for Cedar Fair to invest significant capital in Geauga Lake ever again. They're only competing with themselves now for the Cleveland market share.

Though rumors suggest otherwise... We'll know in nine days.

Rumors?

Huh?

Personally... I hate Geagua Lake. I've never been more embarrased in my life than the last time I went there when it was still 6 flags.

I got stuck on the Superman ride. They couldn't get the shoulder harness to fit. Apparantly the rides have a bit of a height restriction, they aren't designed for any over 6-4. Small problem, I'm 6-8, 6-9 and 300lbs. My wife was in the seat next to me and she felt so bad for me.
They eventually got it to work woth a bit of a cramming and sloutching, but I was VERY uncomfortable.

This wasn't the only thing I got stuck fitting on or getting out of.

Damn Ragin Wolf Bobs and their tiny ass cars. Sat by myself on that one.....

Well, GeaugaLake.com has had a banner up for a few weeks now proclaiming to "mark your calendars. Coming November 10th, the announcement you've been waiting for."

The obvious seems to be that this is going to deal with the Seaworld property. A lot of speculation has focused on a hyper roller coaster but I've been burned too many times in the past so I'm going to guess.... Geauga Lake Condos!

Of course, if it was the announcement *I've* been waiting for, they'd announce Busch bought the property.

I haven't been to Geauga Lake since 1991. Don't plan on going anytime soon either. (And I live a half hour away.)
