That being said, I'm still scared that EA is involved in this project. I really hope they prove me wrong but I'm expecting a game that has really high production values, some really neat new twists on the GTA formula but overall falling short in fun and great gameplay.
Azih said:Dude I don't care. It's a game based on the GODFATHER dammit. The fact that it's from EA doesn't even register. God himself could make a game based on the godfather and I wouldn't buy it.

Razoric said:Do you not like Godfather? I mean if it ends up being good and brings you into the Godfather universe, how could a fan of the movie possibly turn it down? I agree that the chances of this game even pretending to live up to the movie are 1-in-a-billion but still I wouldn't write it off yet.

Your'e not the only one. But if the game is any good i'll probably cheack it out,Ramirez said:I think I'm the only person alive who hasn't seen The Godfather :lol
And I have no urge to either!
Watch it. It won't hurt you and you will probably really enjoy it. It's a high quality film, with some of the best acting performances in cinema. And I have no urge to either!

I think today's thread on self-indulgant games journalism being shit is timed to perfection.Eurogamer said:For a start, we're in a bar in New York's Little Italy district. That's pretty different, in itself, but it's not what makes this unique. What's unique is that James Caan and Robert Duvall are chatting about videogames on a small stage about four feet in front of me. I could, in fact, shuffle forward, reach out, and tap Colonel Kilgore himself on the leg, although cosy atmosphere notwithstanding, I'm sure that security would materialise out of nowhere to drag me away should I attempt such a thing.
