'Good guy with a gun' tries to stop a car jacking and inadvertently shoots the victim in the head. This happened in my city didn't see a thread about it. Story has a M. Night shalomadong twist to it that makes it even worse.

This is the worst part -

As the men struggled with the car-owner, a passerby produced a gun and fired multiple shots, missing the thieves but striking the victim in the head.

The shooter quickly gathered up his shell casings from the pavement and fled the scene.

The injured man was rushed to a nearby hospital where he is currently in stable condition.

So he effed up and shot the truck owner, then didn't even stick around to see how he was. He picked up the evidence and got out of there.
