Pimpwerx said:I know people think this looks great, but it looks like a good current-gen PC game. Not a great deal of geometry, and the lighting isn't impressive at all IMO. But...these ES games aren't really about graphics. More about freedom. I'm sure it'll be a snoozer after the novelty of becoming a thief wears off.OK...so Morrowind dragged a bit. A lot of people dig those kinds of rpgs. Yikes, how do I bail out of this thread gracefully? *throws smoke grenade....vanishes* PEACE.
shpankey said:ok, after watching the video... i dunno about really bad animation, but that is the best fucking music i have EVER heard from a videogame! i am having multiple eargas'ms. holy shit! who the hell is the genius behind that music? and why isn't he in the movies instead? that gave me goosebumps! ::burrr::

it was great up intil the end when he shouted "OBLIVION" which was very corny.Chipopo said:The music...isn't THAT great. The reason for your elation is the velvety soft broodings of Captain Jean-Luc Picard. I'm sure of it.

What the fuck is the point of having a badass knight and nothing to hit? :/
i dont know why im responding, but if you had any real interest in the game and watched the trailer you'd know differently. The Take Out Bandit said:You might have a point if every screen shot I've seen posted of this game were something more than "GUY STANDING IN FOREST".
Firest0rm said:The character model looks great, the enviroment however is nothing that would be considered next-gen IMO.

Discharger said:I think I'll upgrade my pc for this game when it comes out. I know it'd be cheaper to get xbox360 (and I might get one anyway), but it won't have the humongous user created community the previous games have had and to me, that's worth buying a new video card for.
Krowley said:you know... they are talking about "content" downloads through xbox live for this game. i'm actually hoping that they will let users submit mods and release the ones that get past quality testing over xbox live... it would save them a heck of a lot of work to let other users make content. if the modding systms works like it does in morrowind, most mods will use assets provided in the construction set, which led to very small downloads and should make the two versions pretty compatible. it seems like it would be simple to me... sharing content over multiple platforms seems to be a big thing for next gen and i don't see why this game couldn't follow that example. It would add a hell of a lot of value to the game.
Discharger said:If Bethesda can pull that off, that would be awesome. I just have a feeling it's hard to compete with the precision of a mouse/keyboard when it comes to creating new assets. While I don't doubt people are going to be able to have some degree of customization with the xbox360 version (considering the xbox version of morrowind didn't allow for any), I have a feeling it won't be quite as flexable as the pc version of the construction set. I'd love to be proven wrong, but that's just the way it looks to me right now
