One of our engineers recognized that secure WiFi was virtually non-existent at most locations. As a result, he used his 20% project time to begin an initiative to offer users more secure WiFi access. Google Secure Access is the result of this endeavor.

Maybe because you're not using it at a Google site. Their FAQ says it may not work at non-Google access points.

WPA should be fine for whatever you use it for. Yeah, it can be cracked - in some cases easier than WEP - but that's what you get for using consumer-grade encryption.
