We used to do something like this a long time ago at the Nformant. We called them "Translated mini-reviews", and we'd type something up, translate it a few times in babelfish, and them then translate back to English. We'd do it for games on systems we didn't normally review for, as they'd let us get a brief opinion of said game out and also allow us to have a bit of fun.

Being a huge Crystalis fan back in the NES days, I was more than eager to get my hands on this new portable version on Game Boy Color. Was it worth the wait? Well...kind of. The developers at NST have done a technically competent conversion, but in their quest to improve on this old game, theyve ruined some of the nostalgia I should feel when playing it. For instance, all the music is different. Bad move; ten years down the road, music is the single most memorable thing about a game. Most of the graphics are nice, but some of the menu alterations are ill-conceived. Overall, I think this new version of Crystalis has lost some of the old flair, but its still a pretty good game.
