I guess we're going to be dealing with Russia more for oil since I believe the reason W. Bush didn't move the embassy was he didn't want to piss off Saudi Arabia?
Looks like in 2015, only 16% of the oil imported was sourced from the Middle East so this might have an interesting impact on US shale production if they push for an oil export ban to the US.
Or the US will just steal it from Iraq like Trump mused about publicly but I'm hoping that's just a fever dream of his.
