Sorry to bump an ancient thread, but I was just giving this another spin (it never got its hooks into me like the other albums) and I discovered something that might interest GAF. I was listening to "Stylo" and heard something that made me google "Stylo FF7."

I found only a few pages mentioning these things, all noting that there's a reference to "Mako" in the lyrics.

Okay, not earth-shattering. But that's not what I heard. What I heard is the rising synth line that backs much of the song -- one that bears a striking similarity to the track "Bombing Mission" that plays during the assault on the first Mako Reactor.

So between that and the apparent lyrical reference, I think we can say with certainty that "Stylo" has a connection to Final Fantasy 7. Cool!
