The movie was average at best. Here is the jest of the movie
These people crash land get to know each other rebuild a new plane and get out of the desert
. Seriously thats it.

Also a little cool commercial came on from coke saying u can win prizes including a PSP.

You do know that this is a remake, ya? Old 50's movie I think. They just showed it on cable.

I didnt know that but hopefully the original is better than this version. Next up on my free screening schedule is Fat Albert on Saturday then Phantom of the Opera on Monday.

Gah. At least see a good movie like The Aviator.

I thought it was pretty good, not great, but certainly worth watching. But it's one of those movies that will get lost in the cracks and should have been repositioned again.

I like Dennis Quaid, but I won't see this remake of the great 1965 James Stewart/Richard Attenborough movie in the theaters. I'll wait for a video rental.

Also, what's with this Howard Hughes was a great American hero nonsense being used in The Avaitor advertisements? Anybody who knows the first thing about the man whether in his younger or older days, I doubt the word hero would come to their minds. :p
