Gothic 1 Remake goes woke

It's not censorship, it's 'some characters having different roles'. Like, um, not being sold as slaves anymore?
Oh so it's not actually PC censorship and unlike every other shitty western dev, these guys have a very valid reason why they made the women ugly and covered em up.

Guess I just have to buy the game to find out.

Tbh, the original game necks look like they could barely hold up a head. Necks in the remake look a bit odd, but was this actually a decision to make women look that way? Or is this the result of crap character artists?
They went from shoestring to sequoia. FFS, they could learn what in between means.

You realize that exactly my point? Those are games. Some will have nicely modeled pixel asses to excite the clique of nerds who jerk off to videogames while sweating on a PU leather ergonomic gaming chair. Some will have black samurais. Others will have ugly women as leads. And who gives a fuck? I certainly don't, if the game is good; I'm definitely in the right medium, games are as awesome as they've ever been.
I was just pointing out the hypocrisy.

well for gothic ppl

You mean, the go thick ppl.

Y'all MFs always yapping about this game or that game not being "realistic" enough because you get triggered by a random black character in fantasy universe inspired by the middle age european folklore.

You know what the medieval days had? Ugly, tough-looking people including women. Commoners from that time worked in agriculture, milling, textile production, hauling water, tending livestock, gathering fuel and died at 40 during childbirth (their 7th). They may not have had a skincare, but they had more testosterone than your sweaty ass. I'd say, this remake seems pretty realistic in that regard, but I'm not the kind to have a meltdown because of the neck circumference of a pixel character. Just get Brazzers platinum and cancel gamepass, you're clearly on the wrong medium.
excuses excuses excuses, you guys really hate it when people are finally fighting back huh? Its like a bully that's crying and throwing insults when there's finally some pushback.

No, we're not gonna buy a brazzer subscription and no we're not going to be quiet anymore.

don't want people to complain in the first place? the devs shouldn't have censored the outfit and make all the women ugly as sin.

Man, what a shame. I was looking forward to this.

I usually don't care if they put some clothing on women in remakes if the original was just nonsensical fan fiction.
In fact, I welcome it. I prefer my games to not be gooner material as that tends to cheapen the entire product.

But in this case it wasn't, it's not like all the women walked around in full sexy gear - it was those specific ones that clearly had a specific role to fulfill being in those clothes.
It is a prison colony, ffs, you know what those roles were.
It's like going to a Dibella temple in Daggerfall and suddenly everyone is fully dressed. It's just... wrong, and not true to the source material.

However, in their defense, the male-looking character models is highly likely not on purpose, but just due to a bad base model used. Still unfortunate, though.

Yeah, I saw the pictures. Pretty much man in women clothes. I really don't get. Maybe pushing trans?

Why being a dev now is synonymous to pushing political views?
money GIF

This is why. There is money in this shit. Underneath all the "advisory groups" and the "activists," the real reason for this is simply that it's being funded. Funded "normalization."

It's so sad how fucking modern day woke retards don't understand that fictional stories can have misogynistic elements or what have you that presents the story and characters, where did this notion that even stories need to be all nicey nice? It's just the worst, life was so good before these pieces of shit born in the last 20 25 years existed

Jesus fuck, imagine telling to someone else... No, imagine telling to a customer the words he's allowed to use as if he were a child.

Amazing business strategy. Will it work? I can't wait to find out.

I think it's mind blowing how there are now so many examples of this shit and these devs refuse to act accordingly.. Like there's enough data to where they could teach at seminars how wokeness and tryin to control peoples criticisms hasn't worked and won't ever work and all end in failures, yet they refuse to see it.

I thought "the customer was always right" was in economics 101, but I guess they stopped teaching that along the way.

So I asked my wife and she isn't a gamer or really into the political trash that goes on but she knows a little however I asked her to just look at this picture of a "woman" in a game being remade and to give her absolute honest opinion, and she was like "what is that? Looks like a dude woman type thing"... I hadn't told her anything about anything and that was her response.

Now I get she isn't the be all end all but still I find it quite telling when someone who has no investment can just spot it, she just was like what is that?

I think these devs are as delusional as the people they try to include in their agendas. How can we have went 25 years with men and women characters and only now within the last could years have these fucking ridiculous debates with developers over female characters, they are absolutely tryin to appease someone else with this nonsense.

I'd love to ask these guys that, how come we've never had this type of ridiculous discussion in the last 20+ years?
