Are you suggesting that in 2013 physical attractiveness is more important to "full mating potential" than wealth/power or intelligence? You know, things that actually contribute to successfully procreating and raising children that are equipped to survive and navigate the world?

How are genetics limited purely to physical attractiveness? Genetics absolutely contribute to intelligence, talent, fitness, personality, etc. Looks are just a tiny portion.

Physical attractiveness are a primal sign of health and good genetics.
Of course, you could argue you need the right genetics to become a good provider, but then again, you could be born into wealth making you a good provider by default. Good looks is harder to fake and despite modern plastic surgery and more money than most of us has combined, Jay Z is still an ogre.

Full mating potential..what is this a dragon ball Z parody? Two beautiful people doesn't automatically mean their offsprings will be walking gods/goddesses. Also there are PLENTY of women who date guys less attractive than them. It's crazy to think they're attracted to other things? Hell maybe the guy simply makes her laugh...crazy I know. Not sure how your views on people became so fucked up, but mine aren't. I'm not going to judge a woman's beauty based on who she's standing with. Jay-Z wasn't born into wealth. He came from absolutely nothing and built a $500 million fortune, founding or being the CEO of several large corporations (Def Jam, Roc Nation, Roc-A-Fella Records, 40/40 Club, Rocawear). He's extremely talented (tens of millions of records sold, countless awards, 20 year-long and counting career in entertainment). He's obviously a pretty smart guy.
The man clearly has great genes. All of the above contributes far more to his own health and the health of his partner and offspring than physical attractiveness ever would. You don't even need to be hot to be extremely healthy.
You just want to insult the man's appearance and belittle Beyonce and her attractiveness by pretending that finding a hot guy should be the most important thing a woman looks for in a mate. The dude isn't even that ugly.
That would explain a lot, wouldn't it?

That wasn't the point. Just anticipating your next argument about genes and being a good provider. Whatever makes you a good provider doesn't equate healthy, long lived and... **drumrolls** fertile progeny. Hence why the two qualities are and should be separate qualities. It's not enough to raise, feed and protect your kids until they grow up, they also need to make it on their own and then establish the next generation and you need a solid genetic foundation for that.
Obviously, someone in the Beyonce-Jay-Z couple is either shooting blanks or is as barren as the Sahara. I wonder who that could be...

I am really pleased with my looks, but if I, and I imagine many, many other women that'd count themselves as attractive, had to choose to look like anyone it'd probably be her.
Extraneous stuff aside, like her bad music/celebrity/camel of a husband, she's a very good choice, I think. She's multi-ethnic, symmetrical, has a very girlish face, a great body that carries a tiny bit of weight well, she can alternate between matronly or hyper-sexualized at the snap of a finger. She's very versatile. Whether she's the "hottest woman ever," you know, I don't know or care, but to say she's lacking is probably a good indication of someone that's never been with a woman.

Sorry, but neither you nor I has any idea how fertile or healthy Jay-Z is lol, nor do we know how much (if at all) it will affect the fertility of his kids. His attractiveness has nothing to do with it. I don't think Beyonce was thinking about it when she fell in love with him.
Also, money allows their children to be well-fed and taken care of while growing up, and get the best medical attention in the world. I'd say that goes a long way towards being healthy, long-lived and fertile. But, since you want to focus on genetics specifically...
Ok, and again, how does Jay-Z not have this? We know he's at least intelligent + talented. We don't know anything about his health. You have this strange idea in your head that the only way to determine the "quality" (heavy quotes there) of someone's genetics is by looking at how physically attractive they are. It's absurd.

Get it through your head: Not everyone on the planet places physical attractiveness as the top and sole item on their priority list when finding someone they want to spend the rest of their life with.
