I guess this kills a PS4 GT Academy.
Huh, where is this written?

I forgot to post the save game with the cars the other day: http://www.sharebeast.com/i6yksyztf9or
It needs resigning, use it on a different PS3 user, if you use it where your current GT6 save is it will probably mess up the car image database.
After forgetting that I needed to go back and do it for nearly a year, I just golded the Brands Hatch Senna challenge with zero assists
Beat it by half a second and there's loads of time left to get, Senna was shit! ;-)
On another note, with GT Academy moving to Yas Marina, what do people think the chances are of that track being introduced tomorrow (or in the next few weeks)?
nah, not even for the final round imho. Most likely we'll see it in GT7On another note, with GT Academy moving to Yas Marina, what do people think the chances are of that track being introduced tomorrow (or in the next few weeks)?

Round 1 is out btw, Nismo GT-R @Silverstone.
Tried out the academy last night. Holy moly, with the assists turned off that GT-R is all kinds of broken.
It loses traction on less severe corners and lower speeds than I do everyday in my crappy old Almera on old budget road tyres...
Tap the brake ever so slightly whilst not going in a straight line, locked front tyres.
Already under braking in a straight line? Turn the wheel ever so slightly? Locked inside front tyre.
Need to knock off another half second and to do it I'm going to have to work out which corners to recklessly four wheel drift round (turn 1 for sure) and which need tip-toeing round like you're on wooden wheels.
I just found out that they brought back Mid-Field but not Seattle. So how is it?
So in other words, nothing has changed from previous GT Academy rounds. It is basically who can drift the fastest.

I will in no way even come close to placing high in GTA but are the rankings in the final round the only ones that matter? Or is it a composite of the events? IIRC it has only been the final event the last couple times.
I've never played Forza, audio good? I guess it would be hard pressed to worse than GT since GT is so bad in that respect.
You made it to the finals last year, right? Are you trying this year?omg, I cant remember the last time I booted up the ps3.. but 16 d/l and installs for GT6..
I forgot how fun GT is. I still really like the friend ghost lines in time trials and yeah the GTR feels very delicate all around even with aids on.
Hoping for GT7 news soon

I squeaked into the top 32 tournament a few years ago. But was a good 1-2 seconds slower in the actual races so I never made it to Silverstone. Playing with a few of the guys on here back in the GT league, they probably would have had better luck.
This year is interesting since they are grouping different countries together. I'd be surprised if a few US players make the cut since we were always a bit slower globally. Im excited to see how close we get though.
The Audio guy is interesting since he's in Cali, I wonder if he works in one of Sony's cali studios..
Who is the US competing against?
GT Academy Europe
France
Italy
Germany
UK
Iberia (Spain, Portugal)
Benelux (Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg)
CEE (Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic)
GT Academy International
United States of America
Australia
Mexico
Egypt
Algeria
Turkey
GT Academy Asia
Japan
India
Thailand
Philippines

Who want's some free GT Academy lap pace?
Apparently if you quit a GT Academy event go back to the GT Academy menu, then re-enter the same event you will now have improved grip levels to help you slash your lap times.
I wonder how many people have thrown away countless hours of hot lapping trying to get within remote distance of the top times only to find out they were completely wasting their time?

I'm assuming you're sighing at the situation rather than at me? ;-)

The lack of side windows is very strange. It's going to make the car feel really claustrophobic.
It doesn't look like it has a front-window either?
Now that can make a car feel really claustrophobic!
Did Peugeot just pop downstairs into Citroen's office and just copy the Citroen GT? lol.
^ at the very least we should get info on pikes peak. Gran turismo is the title sponsor for this year's climb.
I wonder if we will get 2 versions of the track (dirt and tarmac).
