The game was announced without any platform, but it will surely come out before FY 25 starts, which means that there is, perhaps, a chance.

Can it really be considered a new first party release? It's more of a glorified demo of an existing game.

Yes, a pretty insignificant one if you want to see it that way, but still technically a 'first-party release' on PS4.
