I can respect that. It was actually why I personally waited so long to start the story quests. Since you're so close to the English release, you might as well continue waiting.

Is there a guide out there which explains team organizing? I have a pure water and fire team and understand that for buffs and stat stuff you want a team of the same element, but I'm interested in the scenario where one of your team members are a different element than the rest of the team, and how that effects everything.
Or if rainbow teams are a thing and what not.

Nope, first tab is unlimited. 2nd tab is limited, those items will normally expire 3 days from when they were put there. You'll see a starting date they were put in and a second date, their expiration.
You can earn then often from clearing any mission story/event related.

Tonight, The Suzaku event begins.
The Battle of the South's Red Phoenix ～Advent of the Four Great Beasts～
04/08/2016 - 04/15/2016
The event will consist of 3 difficulties and 2 bosses to face. There will be Very Hard and Extreme Suzaku, along with Extreme+ Agnis. As you do battle with Suzaku, a light orb will gradually shine. Once it reaches it's maximum brightness, you can face the Fire Primal, Agnis.
This is a Fire element event, GET YOUR WATER TEAMS READY!
Unlike other events, there will be no event gacha this time, you will be farming for merit points to exchange in the event shop. But event points/medals still exist for milestone rewards.
Items of interest this time around:
- Suzaku Lightblade This is a SSR Fire Katana that comes with Normal II Large Attack up skill, and not only that, it comes already at 3star limit break -
Notes: Definitely a must get, even if you don't have a fire pool, it would still a great stat stick towards it.
- Suzaku Talisman Use this to 4star limit break the Suzaku Lightblade, another must have item.
Notes: It is said that if you collect all 4 talisman from each of the Celestial Beasts, something good might happen.
- Florenberg - This SSR Fire dagger comes completely limit broken already at 3star. Will give you an extra 10% boost to your event point gained.
Notes: If you're a new player, this should be your #1 Priority to get. However, I'm not completely sure if this will be available this time, but it was available for the last two with Seiryu and Byakko.
- Chrome Steel - Used to exchange for Gold Bar at Siero's shop.
Notes: Unless you really have a mass of points and every single item already, only midgame/endgame players should pursue this. Gold Bars are used to MLB weapons, but are also required for the GW weapon quest.
Newbie tips: The best way to grind points in this event is to leech off of 1 BP Agni battles. Best time/return for your BP. And get that Florenburg if it's available! This event is also a great opportunity to exchange for cheap AP/BP items along with rupee. Take advantage new players.
This game is amazing with it's high volume of content. Really glad I managed to get the other SSR summon before the event ran out. I'm starting to get better in raids. My misery mist/Delay 2 can actually help. If I buff everyone with Riruru and Debuff with Dark Fencer I can actually survive some turns in the very hard and extreme ones.
Early game characters that grant good buffs (Altair, etc), deal huge non-elemental damage (Yoda), or have certain skills like mounts (Catalina, etc) are valid cross-element teams. Otherwise, weapon skill multipliers (which generally are element bound) are too great to make cross-element teams an option besides ToG or Odin teams where sub elements are relegated to support.

It has no skill level. Once it reaches level 100, it's skill will turn on and it'll start netting you more points.

Well you know it was Magnafest.
Outside of magnafest Iam looking about one in maybe 1-2 months. Thus not really thinking Iam getting them much, luckily I can buy one sometimes from Valor shop, whenever I get 5k points. Aim is to get atleast one per month from shop.
aim for 2 per month. Just do all hard magnas and do easy magnas with SR team. Leech with R team. Its possible to cap points weekly.
Yeah. I have dedicated R & SR teams with TH leader. This weeks R & SR are full already and weekly one is 1646/2000, it would be fabulous to get 10k per month. Also hosting own magna gives around 40 valors (or less), thus this is were one needs Casino to buy Animas with medals.

Not to mention that there are mid-battle conversations that would otherwise cost AP if you wanted to go back and read those (unless there's a way to view them that I don't know of). I went through about a dozen chapters in the past week and there's a couple interesting fights where I would love to know the context. But I'll probably need to spend AP to read em.
First you should aim to grab Florenburg, that is 10000 points.
Iam going to get one Katana, got 9500 points leftover from last event.

What skill does the dagger have?
+10% points. works in gw and scenario events.
Dagger is MLB, but you need to get it to level 100 in order that skill to work. But it helps alot. I got in Guild War over 180k extra points from GW Hell enemy. Also it is good stat stick.

Level 100? How many weapons do you need to feed that? One billion?
From the valor shop, is it crazy to not buy a dark/light weapon if you ever plan of building one of those teams? Or should I buy a wind weapon to build up that team faster even though the drops are easier to get?

Wow. I'm not ready for this event. My blue team is kind of crappy. I have Lancelot and a good SR girl who's name I don't remember. She has a water buff and does big damage on overdrive. My weapon pool is not great either.
I need that dagger first and foremost. Going to have to work hard. I'm right on the cusp to doing real work I think. Rank 49 now.

"Leeching" is not viable for me. by the time eveyrthing loads and all the stupid pop ups I don;t even understand are out of the way I am too late to do a single hit.

So, liek, I've gotten about 2k poitns so far, just by casually leeching while doing work and stuff... I think I might be alright more or less.
I like that this event doesn't have a gacha and uses points. It's nice to see exactly how much progress im making. Already at 2700 points, I only in this for the point dagger so it should be cake.
I've been leeching more Suzaku, get 70pts for 1bp but there's always battles available.

This is basically me. Just leeching in between having work to do. Over 2k right now.
Okay, I managed to do a lot of the free pulls over the last event, and I want to do this event but my inventory is stacked and I can'tell find any guide that gets into whatever is done to empty inventory. I got lots of weapons, but they were also characters? I can't find feeding anywhere and I am terrified of selling/dropping/exploding something I need. Can anyone help? I can'tell find a good granular English resource

I've done a bit of the story quests and I've been joining raids. Not sure what I'm getting out of it but I mastered the Fighter Class.
I should be switching jobs, right? The ultimate guide suggests getting Dark Fencer so I guess I'll start working towards that.

Getting that Extreme boss down to about half it's HP is nerve-wracking, I might just switch to 15sta farming and ex+ leeching. All those ex and ex+ hosts and 5BP helpers are the true heroes of this event.

e: Just in case, although that section is mostly about skill upgrading the process is the same, just don't use R weapons with skills/skill fodders.
