We've been hearing mumblings about a timed GTA 6 exclusivity for years now.
As well as Sony spending a shit ton of money this gen on timed exclusives from 3rd parties.
Wonder if it ends up being true.
Massive if it is.

We already knew about this since it was announced last year. GTA online will be free on PS+. That's also why we are getting 1 million GTA money every month on PS+ since last year.

I believe that happens with this new version. But I dont believe its ever been FTP. I could be wrong though. I havent played it in awhile.

But they do as third party titles can expire from the service.

And it is a very simple point that people are making, I'm not sure why you are failing to grasp it. Let's hope it isn't wilful.

Game Pass titles, GwG titles, PS+ titles, Epic Store giveaways, these are all funded by the platform holder giving money to the publisher and so this situation is entirely analogous, which in turn means that if you want to call this a money hat then you must also call all of the above money hats as well.

Except nobody does because the term 'money hatting' historically means that someone has paid money to gain exclusivity on where or when something launches - ie. a timed exclusive or a fully blown exclusive. Neither applies here - it is available on multiple platforms at from the same date.
