Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer 2

HOLY SHIT!

I....I think Jason has Michael's boat lmfao

Haven't we gone over this before?

News to me. What's going on?

It appears to be the same boat that was stolen from Michael from GTAV. Same model, anyways. There's also a picture of it leaning sideways with the Ammunation commercial on the TV during the attention to detail "beer bubbles" scene.

The flotation devices are different colors, but those could have been changed. Either way, neat little Easter Egg in which a character might have a line in the game about "acquiring it" from a San Andreas seller.

GTA6 won't have relationship features in the story mode that's not between the two main characters. But I'd bet my avatar that GTA Online lets players hot coffee each other.

Its funny that the DigitalFoundry guys were so clueless about wether or not the footage we saw was ingame when they themselves asked these same questions about RDR2 trailers 8 years ago lmao

And if you look at these comments

You'll see a lot of ppl saying "I didnt know this was possible on PS4"

Exactly the type of stuff we see for GTA VI today haha

Pretending to be ignorant of the same offenses over and over makes for stretching out content and clickety clicks.

They did it for the first couple of years with the PS5 vs XSX faceoffs.

Booted up GTA5 on the pro recently. Still a game that is dripping in atmosphere.

Rockstar are really on a different level in terms of open worlds.
Man I wish the pro included a disk drive so I can enjoy the enhanced edition disk I paid for. I'll be fucking damned if I'm going to pay extra for a disk drive though.

All for the clicks mate

What still gets me to this day is how alive their worlds feel even compared to modern games.
Like for example, when you get on a highway in GTA V (8th gen version) it still destroys every other open-world game out there, even Rockstar flexed it in their announcement trailer back in the day. 5 years later, watching Cyberpunk's ridiculous sprites and non-existant traffic in Night City's highways was probably one of the most disappointing things to me about exploring that game's world.
Haven't played Watch Dogs Legion but 1 and 2 didn't impress me either.

I still don't trust all the dynamic interactions we're seeing in trailers and screenshots for VI since the reveal trailer for V had quite a lot of the same stuff that never made it to the final release of the game but even still I'm 100% sure it'll be better than anything else out there. I can't wait to see how alive Vice City feels two decades later after we last visited it in VCS.

I'm replaying the game atm. Started RDR2 but wanted to wait if the rumors of a patch turn out to be true, so I switched over to GTA V. It's insane.
Such a lively world, so much to do, so much to explore.
I still like IV a bit more and hope the remaster will come out (this year), but V is just on another level compared to other open world titles (except RDR2 which is its own thing). One can only hope they incorporate as much as possible of what they learned from RDR2 into VI.
And please, give me heavy characters and gameplay variety again, but I think I don't need to worry about that.
The car handling should be a mix between IV and V 😊

From the graphics thread, my infographic on what I think is gameplay (with adjusted camera) and what's a fully directed cutscene:

..they said "equal parts", so there's gotta be some gameplay stuff in there that animates incredibly smooth.

Red Dead 2 sucked fucking balls and the players abandoning the online was a sign of it
RDR2 still gets 50k daily peaks on Steam. Practically every studio in the industry would kill for that. Rockstar didn't think it was worth wasting resources on RDR2 online when they have GTA 6 and GTA V online. They literally passed up on 100s of millions of dollars, but it was probably the right decision

rockstar wont but they should patch it for PS5Pro, having the 30fps mode at 60 would be insane

I'm playing Mafia DE now and I gotta say, I really dig how the cars drive in the game. They have weight to them, but it's not like driving a boat on the road like in GTA IV. This is what's lacking in GTA V, the cars just aren't that fun to drive. Really hoping they have changed some stuff here and there with the driving mechanics.

Yeah but to be fair to DF, I doubt they ever expected Rockstar to sacrifice so much of their available bandwidth just for visuals. Hence the appalling input response their games have, on top of 30fps. They blow their load on rendering budget and save about 5kb for the character controls, but at least the game looks good.

Both are fun and have very different driving physics.

Sure. I am just saying that I had more fun driving cars in GTA 4. That's all.
I am not saying that I minded driving in GTA 5, just that I never drove around in GTA 5 for the sake of driving around, which is what I sometimes did in GTA 4.
But then again, GTA 5 is the only GTA game I never went back to after completing it. It's not a bad game, but it just did not catch me like the previous entries. But that's just me. I recognize that a lot of people really love GTA 5.
I do love GTA 2 and the old 3D GTA games the best, though. I like the arcadey approach to GTA. The best part of GTA 5 for me were Travor's rampage "missions". Those were fun.

Yeah I dont really understand how you can say GTA IV is more fun to play when there is way less to do outside of the main missions. I loved the game and Ive replayed it a bit here but I think Rockstar did the right thing in adding a lot of stuff that was missing in IV. A lot more fun stuff to do outside of the missions

The missions in IV are also way less elaborate

Guys. Am I the only one who noticed this?

GsnYNhAWIAArDPt

Father and Son.

1. They look very much a like, with obvious age difference.

2. Jason passively complained about the older guy not say "Love you, Jason.", after he's sent to get the money.

I haven't seen anyone else mention this.

Apart from the skin colour I don't see it

This part has stuck out to me since day 1, there has to be some sort of familial dynamic here, seems strange to expect a 'love you' from your drug dealer boss
