I love the salt some people have with bounties when you kill them, I was on my level 52 and went after a level 159 who ended up doing the wall glitch on the bridge by the east side LSC, left him and he sent me a text taunting me to come back so I did with passive mode on, shot at me while I was in a vehicle with a mini-gun so I dove out and just stood where he was taunting him. He came out and continued trying to shoot me before giving up and jumping off the bridge onto the train that was coming, dropped passive mode. So I chase after him and after one unsuccessful attempt to get him with guns which I blame on the POS car I jacked not going up the hill for me to be on top of the exit where I was going to shoot down on him which left me open for him to snipe me. I said "fuck it" and just got ahead of the train and dropped a sticky bomb because I'm not going to waste time and detonated it as the train car he was on went over it.

He wasn't happy about my strategy and kept going back and forth with in-game texts about how it was cheap (like I care) after a couple exchanges I left the lobby for a private one to do what I meant to do in the first place and deliver a car. Leaving the session wasn't enough, the dude had to then take the time and find my ID in his recent encounter or whatever list and send me another message about how cheap/cowardly it is, especially since he wasn't using RPGs or explosives or nuthin'!

I imagine he's sent me another salty message or two by now.

The tank is mad fun. Was in a free roam game a few days ago and someone was chasing me in their adder trying to kill me. I called in my tank and managed to get a good distance away from him to where I could get in the tank and wait around the corner for him to show up. He rounded the corner and just stopped and sat there as I destroyed him. He then later could not kill me so he tried to kill me by stealing a titan and running it into me. It didn't work. Its basically my go to for those situations.

Doesn't sound like they're too bright... As much as I hated tank griefers (the jet versions are 10 times worse) they really nerfed the shit out of the tank's armor. It's so easy to blow up now.

Rooftop Rumble is a good mission for AFK'ing the end before delivery. 15 mins and it's $22,500 and ~4000 RP, which is a step up from Potshot that paid out $19,500 and ~3500 RP or so.

they really nerfed the shit out of the tank's armor. It's so easy to blow up now.

This was my only real concern, but again, it's going to be better value than the Jet, so I'll grab the Tank next.

Yeah I still feel like they went a little too far with how much they nerfed the tanks armor, granted it was too strong initially for sure, but the way it is now it feels too weak. On a scale of 1-10 with 11 being what it was at before it now feels like it's down to maybe a 2.

On a different note I really need to start running missions again to build up some funds, not even up to a million yet and I still haven't bought anything from the last update vehicle wise outside of the classic corvette. I really want to pick up the new jet (and the rest of the new aircraft eventually) as it's even more of a blast to fly around than the Vestra.

If I'm sitting around (and want to AFK a bit, read comics or whatever), Potshot was my go to, but above rank 75 Rooftop Rumble seems the best option for solo grinding. Good RP/$ reward and slightly better than Potshot as AFK grind.

I'm still gagging for RP, so RR is better as there's some kills involved to boost that too.

If I'm sitting around though and just want to make money ASAP, Potshot is the best I think - can turn it in under 4 mins, only 3 kills and a handful of ammo, so it doesn't cost you heaps in ammo (or potential failures) either.

I was running Satellite Communications for a while as the payout/RP reward is really good, but found it was a little too unreliable. If the Lost don't spawn at the top of the mountain you have to contend with them on the drive, and then there's the odd chance you can lose the trailer or whatever.

It's good fun and nice for a change, but Potshot (for active grinding) and RR (for AFK grinding) are my go-tos now.

Making 90k in a shade over an hour (~40-45min AFK time) with RR or like ~110-115k active with Potshot in the same timeframe.

Yeah at rank 213 or whatever about the only missions I'm not familiar with are the new ones from the last update, just got tired of running any solo after rank 120.

If you're looking for another easy one and you have a buzzard I would also recommend crystal clearout 3.

Just need somewhere in the range of 3 million though for those last 3 pegasus vehicles (still kicking myself for not buying a cargobob when that was an in game website bug).

I've been doing Denial of Service, it's only level 14 but unless I stick around at one of the locations to kill Vagos (which I usually do to waste some time) it costs nothing in ammo and you can restock Sticky Bombs at the end of it before entering the spot to finish it and make 13-16k+ but with the free Sticky Bombs it's more like 23-26k+ since I usually wait to do it until I'm below 10 before doing it.

They rarely spawn in the world, but they are priceless for missions, since heli's NEVER spawn in missions unless you call for them.

Funny to hear about the tank. A while back, a friend and I did a ton of research in blowing one up. Found out the bottom is the weak point, 2-3 grenades exploding underneath the tank would blow it up, every time. This was months ago, though, so I wonder what it is like now..

Lmao sorry, I could barely see because of the trees...I floored it...came to a stop...saw the notification...and couldn't believe it!! But it's all good, I always use a mic when I play (thanks Pulse Elite, GTA edition too ) but sometimes they are charging, or I don't feel like putting them on. Text messages work pretty well! Usually I can pick up whatever others are layin down with their actions, and I can fall in line pretty ok. Personally I was losing my snit when we both had the pickups tearing ass everywhere, but in close proximity to each other. Great fun!!

Buzzards and Cargobobs are easy to find at the Merryweather docks. I rarely see Mavericks or Froggers there.

I really do love the physics in this game. It leads to absolutely hilarious moments sometimes.

Last night a few of us from the crew were doing Show Me the Monet, and on the freeway back to the lockup, my mate in the Van dropped a 'nade to (theoretically) stop one of the enemy cars chasing him. I'm focused on the Helicopter chasing us, so I don't see the 'nade drop and mate in Van doesn't tell us he's dropped it either.

'Nade goes off, completely misses the pursuing enemy car, but does succeed in taking out three civilian cars, completely obliterating them, flipping one right into the path of my car, launching me into a barrel roll. Somehow I'm right side up when my car hits another of the burning wrecks spinning through the air, so I sorta drive up the flaming wreck, launching me further into the barrel roll, completely over the other side of the highway, land on my wheels and keep going like nothing's ever happened.

Other mate behind us is watching this unfold, cracking up on the mic.

Mate in Van completely oblivious to theatrics cause by single grenade. Laughs ensue as we struggle to explain it all.

Times like that makes me long for the PS4 video upload feature. Can't wait for next-gen version.

If you go near to it, it will push you into the workout room, which you can't access normally. You also can't leave it, unless you find a new session. Luckily the garage owner leaved the garage, so I wasn't stuck anymore. However, it keeps happening in my garage now and it's annoying. Is this a known glitch?

On Level 87 with 1,1 Million Dollar now btw. I'll probably get a Buzzard as my next purchase. If I understood correctly, everything will transfer to the Xbox One version, right?

I learned a few days ago that The Flight School Update had an early glitch where you could buy the Swift chopper FOR FREE. All you needed was the correct amount of money and buy the one with Flying Bravo livery. No exploits needed.

All I have is a jet that crashed within 10 minutes of buying it. fuuuuuuuuuuuuu

Seriously though, maybe they're at a loss as to what rewards heists could offer the game. Missions already give a lot of money. The stock market is probably bust for good.

Maybe mansions, businesses or entire skyscrapers will become purchasable but they'll be about as fun as riding the ferris wheel.

Yeah, I stopped giving a shit about heists ages ago because I really don't need the money anymore and I doubt Rockstar is going to make them so lucrative while that they'll damage the Shark Card business.

I'm way more disappointed in the last of additional single player story content and the casino not opening and the lack of a cops and crooks type mode. GTAO could've been so much more interesting if all the activities could actually take place in the lobby, likely issues with it be damned. Hell, the lack of intricacies in the missions itself is pretty damn disappointing along with the total lack of any actual story to tie missions together and after the introduction of the mission givers you just get the same handful of mission ending cutscenes or text messages over and over and over again.

I am excited about 30 people running around free roam. Starting crap will be so much fun. When people get mad and take it so personally - that's when GTA becomes amazing. When I played San Andreas MP on PC robbing people for 200k and having them chase you across the map was amazing.

I hate to sound like I'm complaining about free content but it's a bit disappointing that none of the three new vehicles have any visual mods whatsoever. That said, none of the new vehicles really interest me anyway so it's not a big deal for me personally.

The new items are surprisingly basic... they're pretty much just a mix of items that already exist. Even the guns. No body customization options either. New items of any quality are better than nothing but they're pretty underwhelming compared to, say, the items of the High Life or Hipster updates. I think the mailed-in this update just to get something basic out while still mostly focusing on PS4/XB1 NG.

that on call feature lets u play while the lobby is filling up- so you either get put right into a job as it begins or it puts you into a lobby with people ready to go.

Haven't played gta 5 since june. This looks like its going to be a blast on next gen with all these updates.

I think especially folks that quit last Nov will be surprised by all the updates.

It's too bad we still don't have Heists but I think Rockstar probably never planned them to be so big. They're actually barely even featured in the official trailers... I think after release, expectations for them were so big, and maybe their original plan for them was rather smaller, so they kept delaying them to make them better. Still, horrible communication about it.

But despite that, we've got a lot of great free DLC. Cars must be close to 20 by now, and most of them are pretty unique and high quality models with a lot of customization. A handful of OK new guns. The map editors are pretty awesome and I think a lot of the people that tried GTAO last year and hate it may be surprised by just how fun some custom maps can be. And all of it free. I mean, I know there's cash cards. But compared to EA and Ubi with their season passes, S-E charging $2 per outfit or $5 for outfit/car packs in Sleeping Dogs... compared to that the GTAV DLC has been a great value haha.

Still wish we at least at decent communication about Heists though lol

I pretty much stopped caring about heists a long time ago and there's a lot of aspects of GTAO that I find disappointing and I think there's a lack of truly compelling content for lobby activities but I'm much more disappointed in the total lack of additional single player story content and the casino never opening up.

Actually me too. I play much more SP than MP. Vast majority of my time is just spent as Trevor rotating between Blaine County and Los Santos looking for gangs. It is cool to get a lot of free car and weapon DLC but they've really put no effort into the SP otherwise. Still haven't fixed the bugged weed farm in 11 months (still says in-game that it is supposed to respawn every week). Would have preferred the DLC content added in a more natural way instead of just making so much free at the beginning, but that's a pretty small thing. And SP still misses out on some of the new art assets like some of the outfits. And, obviously, no story DLC. At this point I have a feeling that the Heist patch will be basically exclusive to GTAO content; I'd prefer we could do the same repeatable Heists in-game with our team or something -- at least have the choice. Nothing wrong with a strong GTAO focus. I just wouldn't mine GTAV SP getting throw a bug fix or a piece of tailored content once and a while too.

So, LTS - do they still have it so everyone's blip is visible? Because that is some bullshit. I only played it once in the first week, never touched it again. Visible radar blips are a crime against games.

I think they actually patched the death Radio Station setting. Mine is set to OFF in the Audio Settings Menu and whenver I enter a car or mission now, the Radio is actually OFF.

Praise Rockstar for updating the game at no costs. These updates are pretty cool and I can't wait for the updates on Xbox One/PS4/PC.

Edit: Welp, now "Spawn Location" is a dead setting. You always spawn in your apartment...
