So tempted to go back to GTA 4. Again.

I can see the headlines now.
That's also the setting for Rockstar's Manhunt. The mayor is mentioned on the radio in GTA III.Horns said:If it's not a previous city, my guess is Carson City. It's been mentioned many times throughout the GTAs.

You just wrote the script of the best game ever. The Mana Legend said:You start off as a priest, doing evil deeds for the Catholic Church. Then as you go down your life of crime, you realize the error of their ways (aka you find out that the Pope, who has been giving you jobs, was the one that molested you as a child), so you get banned (and nearly killed) from Vatican City when you out the Pope, and begin work with an underground movement against the Catholic Church. It ends with giant shootout with the Pope after you skydive from a helicopter directly onto the balcony where he is giving a public appearance.
Link me dude.maquiladora said:For nostalgia purposes, I've been looking back and reading the old thread on here from when the GTA IV trailer launched. Hilarious to see the manic meltdown when the R* site crashed and everyone was scrambling to d/l the trailer.

I've put it on page 50 as that's where shit gets insane. 50 whole pages before the trailer was even released.

You're just supposed to know, I guess.Lupin the Wolf said:Apologies for Off-topicness:
So, is the only way to know if a GIF is banned to have been there when the announcement was made? The "banned memes" post in the FAQ board mention a couple ("NEAT," for instance), but that F5 one isn't mentioned. There's one with a guy holding a controller with the caption "FUU**" and a bunch of blinking and shaking and stuff which is apparently banned, but there's no evidence of that in any go-to resource that I can see. Neither are several other GIFs I've seen posted only later to be told by other members "Oh yeah, that GIF was banned." How is everyone else supposed to know these things?

This one will blow our minds, visually and content wise. I'm predicting 99 metacritic and highest scoring game of all time.

Ever since GTA III, I can't remember Rockstar using CGI stuff. They love putting that "made entirely with in-game footage" at the end of their trailers.RbBrdMan said:NICE.
I hope for more of the same. Nothing frustrates me more than hyped up CGI trailers.

* According to Dan Houser, VP of Creative for Rockstar Games, they haven't yet figured out if GTA IV is going to spark off another set of GTA games connected to it, and they're currently just focusing on this single game. He does say he "would have a certain confidence" setting GTA outside the United States, such as England in the future.
