Nice graphics. But more important, it's gameplay reminds me of Dark Messiah of Might and Magic.

You need to refresh your gif folder, you always use this one
because that was a limp dick opinionHow would you know that?

It's in-engine cutscenes, not real gameplay. But the game looks interesting anyway.Nice graphics.
Hopefully the animation work doesn't get worse, combat look pretty punchy. It's in-engine cutscenes, not real gameplay. But the game looks interesting anyway.

Microsoft could just totally start again tho - what do they have to lose? If they have the only truly premium console on the market with COD and Bethesda they could maybe make up some groundLol pretty much impossible. After all these shitshows, Microsoft basically gave all of the market to Sony by themselves, at this point even if you made a new console gamers and devs simply won't bother with it, be it powerful or not. Gamers need to see fancy hot new titles when buying a console, devs and publishers need a huge platform for stable cash flow , but MS fails to deliever both over and over again, and that's when you actually have Bethesda and Activision joining the xbox tag here.
I'd say if Sony made a powerful, expensive machine you still gonna have some diehard fans would try it out no matter what, 'id xbox'? Even gaming stores would stay far away from this thing. The only ideal option for them to not complete lose the market forever is keep selling bargains , not going for a price higher than others . Or if the specs are significantly better, same price, basically og xbox 360 strategy. What ? Too much work? You mean p3 and Satya Nadella don't like it? Just count the ryzen 7 12800x3d and rtx7090 combo pcs as the most powerful xbox, and playstation 6 with nintendo switch 2 as well, since everything is a xbox anyway![]()
Awesome. I tried DMoMM a year ago for the first time, and it felt a little too dated. Like I could sense the proto-Dishonored DNA but it wasn't quite polished enough graphically or mechanically. I'm down for a modern spiritual sucessor.Nice graphics. But more important, it's gameplay reminds me of Dark Messiah of Might and Magic.
Is this shit is real or just fake trailer ?
This trailer looks really good if it's ends looking like this and not just fake cgi stuff.I like their zombie design.

Models specially zombies, monster's, and some stuff like the scene of the running man looks quite hard to believe it's realtimeHa...
Didn't see any CGI level things on this... Quite average, except forest density in fewshots, maybe...
Don't know. I must be really dumb or blind. Or both...Models specially zombies, monster's, and some stuff like the scene of the running man looks quite hard to believe it's realtime
Thats as the other guy said impossible, nobody is willing to take a hit that big just to try and get ahead. The only thing MS can do since they skipped thank god, the "pro" console is to do the same thing like they did with the 360. Try and be a year early on the market. So if the ps6 leak is true and it doesn't end up being that impressive of a leap - then what would happen if Microsoft swung in and made a super powerful console, selling it for 1.5-2x the price? If everything is going multi-platform anyway I feel like that might be a good move for them
The destruction model is so good that for the first 10-15 sec i thought it was real
This stuff to me it's much more impressive than whatever bananza is doing even if it's just car destruction.

The hardware this generation hasn't actually been used besides The Matrix Awakens, Hellblade 2 and 3 other games and GTA 6 hasn't released yet…Gen started a while ago. Lots of great looking games have been releasing since 2023.
PS6 is set to come in 2027, 7 years after the PS5. That's in line with the PS2, PS3 and PS4.
Apparently the first are is the worse, i was unimpressed as you. Finally started Space Marine 2. Not very impressed so far after all the hype I've heard around here.
The scale can be impressive, but the outdated lighting really holds it back. Facial detail/animations look worse than many PS4 games as well.
The scale that drew me into buying SM2 was disappointing in the actual game. From what I recall, a lot of times you'd see these epic hordes in the background, and they amount to animated sky-boxes, basically. The actual hordes that attack never reached that Lord of the Rings-battle scope, which is what I imagined the gameplay would be like for some reason. Finally started Space Marine 2. Yeah I've seen this, hasn't this game been out for years? Why can't that destruction model be implemented in a normal game
Why not? Any game with driving would benefit from having more realistic damage, burnout would benefit from it, any racing simWouldnt really be a benefit to a normal game that's not focused on precise car destruction
I would love for gta6 to have such a precise damage model but they should made the cars a bit more resistant to not be annoying.Wouldnt really be a benefit to a normal game that's not focused on precise car destruction

Gaming media has long been a joke. How can critics still use the "return to form" expression at this point, which has turned into an absolute joke lately ? Are they terminally braindead ?
Maybe EA demands it for some reasonHow can critics still use the "return to form" expression at this point, which has turned into an absolute joke lately ? Are they terminally braindead ?
That's about where I think it will be and current gen graphics at 4k 60 is about what you will get. We will be back to 30 for anything graphically impressive unless the CPU is significantly more powerful and that I doubt. The irony about Nintendo is that if the Switch 3 or whatever might be called is similar to the PS5/Series X it will be a much bigger jump going to that.PS6 specs leaked. Take it with a grain of salt but it looks like a 3x increase in GPU power. So around 30 PS5 tflops. In reality, it will probably be around 20 tflops with RDNA5 IPC gains providing much of that 3x jump.
Extremely conservative specs. Sony studios will probably take native 4k 30 fps games like HFW, Spiderman 2, DS2 and make them 60 fps and call it a day. not much more they can do with just 3x more power. Next gen will be even more undewhelming than this generation.
P.S Just an FYI, the PS5 was roughly 8x more powerful than the PS4 after the IPC gains so the fact that this is only 3x is really really bad.
Bro have you not heard, Veilguard is a great return to form for the Dragon Age franchise, you should give it a bharf err tryHow can critics still use the "return to form" expression at this point, which has turned into an absolute joke lately ? Are they terminally braindead ?
yeah, but nintendo went from a ps3 era GPU to a GPU thats 2x more powerful than the PS4 and are still making ps3 era visuals. Just at higher res like you said will happen with the PS6.That's about where I think it will be and current gen graphics at 4k 60 is about what you will get. i actually hate the return to form term because it implies that they have gone back to the basics instead of overhauling the game to be different, to be more ambitious and try to take advantage of the next gen horsepower. How can critics still use the "return to form" expression at this point, which has turned into an absolute joke lately ? Burnout paradise and several other burnout games on the PS2 had way better damage modeling than what we are getting now. I have no idea why people make excuses for a complete lack of damage physics in games featuring cars. We used to have way better standards back in the day. Even in GTA4, you had bumpers, doors and other individual car elements that would fall off. All of that has been left in the pass.I would love for gta6 to have such a precise damage model but they should made the cars a bit more resistant to not be annoying.
But the visual damage should be this detailed and dynamic and not precanned.
It's precisely the mentality of "most games dont NEED: xyz" that is holding us back - I see it all the time. Physics? "Yeah but the game doesn't need physics really" - destruction? "But the game doesn't need destruction" Any advancement has this excuse. Okay then your game doesn't NEED to exist does it - it's not doing anything special so why should I care?Burnout paradise and several other burnout games on the PS2 had way better damage modeling than what we are getting now. The new CPUs should handle physics based destruction and collisions, but the devs are too lazy to implement anything like that. I used to say that PS4 generation was basically using game design from the PS3 generation with the only innovations coming from the new combat systems, but nowadays its not just game design, the entire industry is in a state of arrested development. From level design to physics, graphics (at least sony studios) and combat design (copy pasta souls trash).
That and 64 players and destruction and apparently its running really well too even on consolesBF6 multiplayer looks as good as prior gen single player, that's what is impressing me. What will BF6 single player look like![]()
Just for comparision thats bf3 pc footage(no mods, obviously maxed in 4k using current gen pc hardware):BF6 multiplayer looks as good as prior gen single player, that's what is impressing me. What will BF6 single player look like![]()
Beanng does this. The car body can be set to be tougher up until some invisible damage meter reachs a crjtical point at which point the damags starts to reflect reallife. It works pretty good but would still need to be tweaked a little for gta to keep it from being too frustrating. There is a way it seems.I would love for gta6 to have such a precise damage model but they should made the cars a bit more resistant to not be annoying.

Back then in 2011 on consoles game wasnt even full 720p and it dipped often from its 30fps target too
Lets see how current gen BF6 holds up on consoles in singleplayer mode, if its stable 60 with relatively high res u know devs simply didnt even attempt to push the game hard visually.

The game looks good but its mostly the same as BF4 and BF3 with some BF1 atmospherics, but nothing brand new and ambitious like what they showed at the start of the generation below:

Work in progress my ass. There was no work being done on this other than creating a cg render of a face and NPCs.
Operations in BF1 was such a great mode and all i kept thinking was how amazing it would be if it had more than just 64 players charging at each other taking sector after sector. it's been 9 years and we are still at 64 players. MAG had 256 player battles that culminated with everyone meeting in the middle at the end of the game and while it ran at 15 fps, it was incredible. that was in 2010 on a PS3. How we cant do 1000 players in a war game is an example of the sorry state of cod and BF studios. Sony couldve made a war game with all that gaas money but those retards invested in overwatch trash instead of something like Socom, MAG, Killzone or Resistance 2.
P.S This is on the gamers too. They want devs to go back to the basics and feel more like BF3 and BF4. Well, fucking play those games then. The servers are up. They can be bought for like $5 on the EA store. Why do you want to play the same game over and over again? People have zero imagination.
I guess you are talking about all the games that are not ngbeam right?Burnout paradise and several other burnout games on the PS2 had way better damage modeling than what we are getting now. The reality is that even if Sony released a powerful next-gen system, it would not be utilized in the slightest. Every AAA developer will be releasing their games on Xbox Series and Playstation 5 consoles until at least 2033, probably even later. We are truly at a bottleneck in the industry. Prices are not coming down and casual gamers are not going to spend 800$+ on consoles that play the exact games as their current console. The next Playstation should be able to play all games at 4k60 for the next 10 years, even if it is only twice as powerful as the current gen systemsThat's about where I think it will be and current gen graphics at 4k 60 is about what you will get. Yeah but wreckfest was more close to burnout than beamng, the latter is in a class on its own.And wreckfest
