So according to that review, this movie mainly focuses on Sandra Bullock's character and Clooney is only a bit part? I'm definitely less excited now.

How could you miss the fact that everyone loved it even IF its mostly a Bullock film.

"And with the director being careful to ensure the void of space doesn’t carry any noise-" I am most pleased. I was looking forward to it a large amount initially but this was one of the things I was most curious about. I'm extremely hyped for this movie now, particularly with the praise it is receiving.
nice

You thought Children of Men...was silly?

Anyway, my hype is at full throttle right now. Cuaron, don't let me down!

Yes I did.

So instead of just killing Owen and such. They had a bunch of hill people sabotage their journey, by rolling rocks and such. Meanwhile they had a motorcycle gang ride up and shoot certain people in the car.

It was super silly, especially when you consider that people in the car were in on it, and the crazy ass attack had every likelihood of killing them as well..

Plus the thing they were trying to accomplish made no damn sense. They wanted to kidnap the girl, which they
Could have done the nite before. It is just silly action.

NFC his new movie is two characters floating in space, and they both will die. There is no maybe there. He created a circumstance where the two main characters are separated and have no chance at survival.

I've never heard such raving impressions. Hype get.

It's fairly crazy. Just talked to a friend there and he said it's better than Children of Men and he cried about 10 times during it. Wowza.

Thankfully we've only got a month to go until it's WIDE release in IMAX. Unbelievable, considering the distribution Cuaron's last film got.

My buddy had a great take off the trailer: "So basically you're asking me to sit thru 90 minutes of Sandra Bullock screaming in space? No thanks. Pass."

That being said, I loved Children of Men and with the praise this is getting, my hype is going sky high. Can't wait!

My most anticipated movie of the year by a huge margin. Sounding like the 7 year wait for another Cauron movie was worth it.

I think we are all just hyped because we love and know Cuaron + his works. I can see why someone who didn't wouldn't be very excited, but damn at those impressions!

My friend just told me that James Cameron just did an interview about Gravity, and he goes on to say that it is the best space film ever. Damn.

One of the most exciting things about this film for me is the fact it's running time is 90 odd minutes. It shows a specific vision and that Cuaron has perfectly judged this film.

By all accounts a taunt, well paced film that manages to resist having the audience sit there for three hours because that's how long Oscar worthy films are.

Get them in. Get them out. Having a filmmaker with such vision for a project beyond the, apparently ground breaking, VFX is rare and demonstrates a director whose vision is to the narrative and characters first and everything else (stunning space shots) second.
