As if it wasn't already clear that Ubi doesn't give two shits about the PC market. Sucks though, as the PC version sounds a lot more interesting than the X360 version.

March 10th for the 360 apparently, so at least it's next week :) Maybe a delay so the demo has more of an impact?
I assume that's the UK release date and it's still the 7th in the states?

why what's different in the PC version?

I'm quitting PC gaming and going back to consoles if I ever get around to boxing up my pc game collection to be eBayed. I've been too lazy to do it or maybe it's really just my subconscious holding me back.

Thanks, not that those couple days makes a difference, but I'm just a little paranoid because of the lack of a "It's Gone Gold" announcement.

I can't name *one* PC gamer that cared for it and I'm frank here.

This time PC version is the worse version (PS2 port) and I would really recommend picking up the 360 version instead.

Out of curiousity... What is the next hawt PC FPS? Prey? Unreal '07?

Yeah, No Gold announcement has me worried as well.
Most games don't get "gone gold" announcements, but I suppose this case is a bit weird considering the hype it's getting.

More realistic gameplay which is focused even more on team-based play and simulation. The Xbox 360 version is the only one with the crosscam interface though (only possible on that platform currently), also has more impressive graphics and I heard the X360 version had at least one level which could only be designed for that consoles hardware.

So unless you want a true combat simulator, the X360 version is clearly superior.

Enemy Territory: Quake Wars

What? The PC version is developed separately from any of the console versions.

You mean PC exclusive or no?

PC exclusive: hmm... HL2: Episode 1 & 2, Far Cry 2 (Crysis), Duke Nukem Forever?

PC & 360: Tons. Prey & GRAW are the closest.

I saw "GRAW" and "delay Q2" in the thread title and almost crapped on myself. Then I calmed down and noticed it was about the PC. *whew* close one

True, but high profile ones tend to get gold announcements or at the very least, a press release saying "It's done, and it ships on this day" Of course, it is UbiSoft we're talking about here.

you better not have jinxed the 360 version into a delay.

If i dont get my 360 back from MS then i hope it is delyaed, until i get my 360 that is :P

If i have to suffer, so should all of you

So it this another case of the console version being dumbed down for simplicity?
This is the reason I hesitate to buy the console version of any PC game.

You can afford keep your desktop current for pc gaming, but not a 360?

I have more then 1 reason to keep my PC up to date,

laying 300 down for one game is simply not in my budget.

Wait what? It's a PS2 port? I thought it was an original game that played like Ghost Recon 1? WTF!

Anyone that experienced Ghost Recon on PC would be looking forward to this.
