So yeah this is Bruce Timms return to animated series

Based on the DC Comics super hero, Green Lantern: The Animated Series is an all-new CG animated action series from Warner Bros Animation. Bruce Timm and Sam Register (Teen Titans, Ben 10, Batman: The Brave and the Bold) are the executive producers. Giancarlo Volpe (Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Avatar: The Last Airbender) is the producer, and Jim Krieg (Ben 10: Alien Swarm) is the producer/story editor. The voice cast for Green Lantern: The Animated Series includes Josh Keaton (Transformers Prime) as Hal Jordan, Jason Spisak (Young Justice) as Razer, Kevin Michael Richardson (Young Justice, ThunderCats) as Kilowog and Grey DeLisle (Batman: The Brave and the Bold) as Aya.

As Earth’s Green Lantern, Hal Jordan is used to being in dangerous situations — but he’s never faced anything like this! Set at the farthest reaches of deep space, Green Lantern: The Animated Series finds Hal on the Guardian Frontier, where he must face down an invasion by the Red Lantern Corps. Powered by pure rage, the evil Red Lanterns have sworn to destroy the Green Lantern Corps and everything they stand for. Dispatched on the experimental spacecraft The Interceptor, Hal is soon joined by an all-new group of heroes on a mission to protect Guardian Space — and the Green Lantern Corps itself!

DC Comics is also publishing a Green Lantern: The Animated Series comic title as a companion to the exciting CGI series.

This season is going to focus on the red lantern corp mostly

A born leader, Hal loves his role as a Green Lantern. He laughs in the face of danger, and rushes headfirst into action.

Gruff and tough, Kilowog is Hal's old drill sergeant. The loss of his homeworld has made Kilowog naturally cautious. He never acts without a plan.

The Guardians are an ancient race who established the Green Lantern Corps as galactic peacekeepers.

Atrocitus blames the Guardians for the devastation of his
home sector, the Forgotten Zone. He will stop at nothing to destroy the Green Lantern Corps.

"I am Atrocitus, Lord and Master of The Red Lantern Corps. I'm the one who will destroy the Guardians and all they stand for."

Zox is right-hand alien to Atrocitus, carrying out his supreme leader's commands with zeal.

Much like Harley quinn back in the batman Animated series, Razer is a character introduced/Only in the Green lantern Animated series. A former member of the brutal Red Lanterns, Razer is trying to atone for his past misdeeds. But first he'll have to tame his own savage nature. Originally from a home planet ravaged by warlords razer joined the local militia to gain power to protect the people he loved but was unsuccessful. His wife was called and in his rage a red lantern power ring contacted him. Razer gave him to his rage and promises that someone will pay. anyone.

"BUT ITS IN THREEE DDEEE! D:"
Doesnt matter the reviews for this have been glowing! and its BRUCE TIMM YO!

lets just quote this little piece
Do you like Justice League Unlimited? Watch Green Lantern: The Animated Series. Do you like Batman: The Animated Series? Watch Green Lantern: The Animated Series. Do you like Superman: The Animated Series or Young Justice or Batman Beyond, or pretty much any DC Comics-based cartoon? Well, watch Green Lantern: The Animated Series.

It's seriously that simple. And it's simply that good. Don't miss it, folks.

Wow surprised how many people didn't know Timm was involved.

I mean you can just look at the character models. That's Trademark Timm-style.

a lot of people just thought that since its an animated series they were emulating his look.

Can't wait. The reviews for the pilot have been very positive, so far.

welp, I'm convinced

I know the DC guy at the presentation said that their competitors compelled them to go CG, but I don't see the benefit. You get inferior and stiff animation and it costs more. I hope Disney/Marvel don't go that route with their shows.

Artstyle totally reminds me of the The Incredibles.

I should clarify. The Incredibles totally reminds me of Justice League Animated.

i hope this becomes popular enough so that they can up the budget. Get some star wars the clone wars quality up in this bitch.

also these are my favorite shots

Or at least 3rd season Beast Wars. It's amazing that only Lucas and the Canadians are good at weekly CGI.

just hoping the action scenes are creative with neat constructs from the lanterns.

with GL you can get really creative in the fight scenes, but then most animated shows just show GL shooting green lasers, very boring.

I still can't believe Atrocitus looks different.
I guess he wasn't evil enough. I do hope it isn't just all lantern on lantern fights. Colored pewpew fights will only be interesting slightly longer then it is in comics.

And they better not fuck up Lafleeze, only thing good to happen in the book since Hal and the Corp came back.

Maybe he becomes fucked up and become the monster we all love later in the show?

Also, I wonder if this is tied to the DCAU

Hope it's OK to ask this but will this be streamed on a website or such? I don't live in the US so I won't be able to watch it when it airs.
I ask, because CN has put up some of their shows on their websites to be watched streamed.

My mistake, I didn't realize we were playing "middle school."

What's next, Sega vs Nintendo, or shall we argue about professional wrestlers?

Why would we argue? Rock and Bret Hart all that matter.

Hal is the Ryu of the GL Corps. Nothing in particular makes him stand out; yet he's forever awesome.

Can't wait to watch this.

Hal is definitely the best human Green Lantern. Guy is the strong nerd everyone hates. Jon Stewart is the teacher in high school that always talked about how you couldn't do stuff like this in the real world. Kyle just wants to watch Edward Scissorhands all the time. The best GL is the planet.

GL by Timm?

Even though Kyle is my fav, this could be awesome.

And Carol looks like she belongs in a Pixar flick.
