That was great. When the fighter jet crashed, I laughed out loud.

Although the CGI is not as detailed as Clone Wars, the animation is FAR better.

Liking what I'm seeing so far. Fight scene was great. Or at least, it certainly is an improvement over GL just doing "PEW PEW!" in JL/JLU. :lol

the space lighting looks awesome, The Enviroments look too plain but yeah the lighting and effects look very good. Some people were talking about only fightng with beams, if ths is any indication they will have a nice mix.

Aya is a great character.

WB doesn't budget much.

Texture-wise.

Makes Clone Wars look like Pixar level.

Craft-wise.

Animation-wise, it makes Clone Wars look cheesy. The show is fine, despite that asteroid having a lower-res texture than it would on an N64.

Ooh, this is a serial! Didn't expect this to have direct episode to episode continuity.

Why can't these Marvel/DC animated TV series just use the perfection of the JL/JLU style of animation.

This is pretty much JL animation, but in CG. It's simple, but good.

Better then I expected. I guess it is Green Lantern meets Voyager. Guess that way they won't have to render a lot of shit. Hate they didn't keep removing red ring equals death thing.

I only caught the last 20 minutes or so, but that was really good. Much better than I was expecting. The style is going to take some getting used to, but whatever.

Also, that Teen Titans short was cute.

That was an awesome sneak peak.

But Kilowog did bring up one of my fears, is it just gonna be Hal, K and the ship, week after week chasing the Red Lanterns?

The backgrounds and stuff leave alot to be desired, but the fight scenes were great and pretty good comedy. If you like this show buy the toys to keep it around.

It's bound to be more than that. I can't see the show going long without more Lanterns and villains showing up.

:(

Well, I think since it's an established property (with toys already on the shelves thanks to the GL movie), it's bound to fare better than Sym-Bionic Titan.

Will it pull a YJ and disappear for 6 months?

Well, I don't believe this show is set to premiere for another 2-3 months.

But unlike Young Justice, this also seemed to have a full 2 years of prep time and not just one

Just curious, but is there going to be a 6 month delay from this premeire until they actually start airing the weekly episodes for this series? This is Cartoon Network so that's what I would figure.. :-p I had checked my DVR listing for this show for next Friday and ddn't see it listed so I presume the worse.

Edit: Oops! Beaten but hey it's "only" a 2-3 months delay... er, woo?! :-\

Having the Clone Wars air right after it really shows the difference in CGI quality.

But GL still looked fine, especially because it was stylistic, just like the DCAU.
