Well, it was already hinted in that third ep anyway.

Also, didn't Razer already charge his ring using Atrocitus's battery?

Such a great ending.

Aya's Oath said:
The power of the crimson red,
Can lead your soul away from dread,
And heal the deepest wounds of hate,
Let no one else decide your fate.

Then the pained way he recited the proper oath. Good stuff.

as a life-long GL fanboy, I was kind of skeptical about it when it was first announced, despite the pedigree behind it. or maybe apprehensive is a better word. the CG, and the fact that it was jumping right into the other corps with Red Lanterns showing up right away, etc. and I always felt that GL would be tougher than other heroes to turn into a running series, given the scope.

but it's been handled so well, and the CG is really smooth, a nice adaptation of the "TAS" style. and I know it's an archetype, but Razer kind of reminds me of Dinobot from Beast Wars.

I also really liked their interpretation of Saint Walker.

so far it's had a good sense of mystery behind it. despite me having followed the comics, I'm not sure what direction it's heading in. (in a good way)

Oh man they are SO
gonna get the Sinestro Corps in this series after the Red Lanterns are taken down
I thought this ep. was good but I didn't like that
Kilowog's family is dead and apparently so's his planet, how'd that happen anyway?

I am loving Hal in this show and his humor is the best.

I must've forgotten then ^_^;
...but wasn't his family alive by the end of the Sinestro Corps War in the comics?

They said they weren't allowed to use Sinestro, but I guess that will probably change if they don't make a second movie

Hmm...I think you may be thinking of that really sad panel of him having dinner with a hologram version of his family made by his ring.

Sinestro is still a good guy in the films. If anything he'll be able to pop up in a way similar to Anakin in Star Wars Clone Wars as a character who ultimately becomes Darth Vader.

Wasn't that when a lot of Batman stuff were off limits?

If I recall correctly, Batgirl was the only Bat character that was having some kind of tv rights issues. They said No to Plastic man, Classic JLA, Power Girl, possibly others, but those are the only ones I recall off the top of my head.

I never got it either. Rights issues are one thing, but why deny characters to a guy who has proven he knows what he's doing?

How can the Star Sapphires be so evil when their guardian looks so cute and cuddly?

So Razor got the hots for a botz. and Jesus Hal is going system to system collecting forces for a Green vs. Red war....

I'm terrified we're inching closer and closer to a Mass Effect 3 style crash and burn finale.

This was my favorite episode. Good action, general dickery from the Guardians, Blue Lantern origin, Manhunter flashback, some callbacks to older episodes, and a sense of where the season is headed with an all out war declared on Atrocitus' forces. The show has gone full steam ahead with the space opera theme and I love it.

Blue lanterns up in this bitch now.

I know they have said larfleeze will show up, and I have heard something about yellow lanterns being under embargo because of the shitty movie, but what about indigo?

Also most of the red lanterns kinda suck so far, always getting there ass kicked, they need some Dex-star to show um whats up.

Hell yeah! This episode was even better than reckoning. I love how the simplicity of GL story telling contrasts with the slow burning Young justice.

After this episode, I'm thinking that the series, at least initially, is a retelling of the War of Lights story arc. The only real big difference so far is they're doing a Red Lantern Corps War instead of a Sinestro Corps War to kick things off.

So people are really getting into this show now?

I thought some people were skipping it between Thundercats and Young Justice.

Oh man this episode was firing on all cylinders.

And curious where they go next season, look like could bring in the Manhunters, but we've also seen 4 of the emotional spectrum so could go in that direction as well.

I wonder if we'll see Ganthet again with a new VA.

Didn't know Ian Abercrombie was in Rango too.

3 episodes left in the season, and we know that the season finale is a 2 parter.

11. Fight Club
12. Invasion
13. Homecoming

Wonder what they will replace green lantern with in DC nation. Im pretty sure they haven't talked more about beware the batman.

EDIT: Apparently the teaser trailer for it was released

Ahh... wow, that's rather short. I always thought the "median" for seasons are 20~ eps.

Hmm depends

I mean officially Justice League had 13 episode seasons. Just that season 1/2 were 13 hour long eps broken into two.

Anyhow, I have no idea what they are going to fill the block with in June
Since I imagine would premiere GL season 2 with Beware The batman

so my only question as i am not into comics is why are green lanterns soo weak?
their top of the line get beaten so easily.?
