If I recall correctly, Batgirl was the only Bat character that was having some kind of tv rights issues. They said No to Plastic man, Classic JLA, Power Girl, possibly others, but those are the only ones I recall off the top of my head.

I never got it either. Rights issues are one thing, but why deny characters to a guy who has proven he knows what he's doing?

Didn't Power Girl show up in JLU? She was a clone of Super Girl or something.

The Green Lanterns travel to a prison asteroid to find a legendary code that holds the key to crossing an impenetrable asteroid barrier called “The Maelstrom” before Atrocitus and his Red Lantern armada can do so. Unfortunately, a Thanagarian prisoner named Byth Rok is the only one that knows the code.
.

Should be fun seeing thanagarians on here.

That was a decent ep.

Kind of a bit more light-hearted then expected heading into what appears to be an epic 2 part season finale.

A couple good twists that episode with hal being sly.

Hate hawk people, hope bleez ended them and we never have to see them again.

Wait, the battery that became a Blue Lantern battery was Hal's? I wonder if it implies that Hal would become one lol

Then again batteries are interchangable.

We are now back to green lantern, on DC Nation

Yeah you just need a battery
Heck in the first episode, he charges his ring with the ship

Ahh thought as much lol

hmm so now that violet, blue, red and green are accounted for, all we need are indigo, yellow and orange.

Why did nobody tell me this was great? and im not even a huge GL fan.
Started at episode 1 this morning and I have marathoned to episode 9.

quick question about Carol
why did she give up the ring? I thought she becomes one of Hal's usual villains.

It depends really on continuity. In the comics she isn't anymore.

Wow watching missed episodes on the internet is one thing but seeing it in HD on TV.
This show is kinda beautiful, im less worried about Beware the Batman being CG outside of the design style.

This episode specifically had some amazing scenes.

The asteroid belt and Saint walkers peak where beautiful.

Oh man.. the part where she was going through its.. path.. was amazing.. and her body cracking..

And the ending.. oh gawd.. show has been so awesome

Can't wait for next week

Shes had some great development and has helped out the team a whole lot so yeah i dont disagree.

also

"You have the ability to instill great hope. Welcome to the Blue Lantern Corps."

I have to admit that i dont even mind Sinestro not being in here, they've done a great job so far with the red corp.

and i cant fucking wait for next weeks episode. If i make a season 2 OT the subtitle will be;

Green Lantern: The animated series S2 |OT| |"You have the ability to instill great hope"

because

Or can we just call it Saint walker the animated series? Because best fucking thing in the series.

Or "All Will Be Well"

And yeah, I don't mind the lack of Sinestro since they've done a good job of making the Red Lanterns a major threat.

Any chance of a 2nd season for this show?
I've really enjoyed it for the most part.
Looking forward to the finale but man...I WANT MORE!

Yeah we will definitely get a hiatus, specially since CN has said absolutely nothing on the second season and the first season ends next week.
If anything they will premier the Next season in NYCC like last year.

They will definitely continue DC nation, its amazingly popular.

That's good to know...

I've been wondering if its worth starting a thread or asking, but curious how people are enjoying DC Nation/Marvel Universe as a whole.

It sucks because I never really know where to post thoughts on the shorts and other things they put in the programming blocks.

why can't DC translate their animation awesomeness into live-action movies? only batman has been successful, would love a justice league live-action movie :(
