Green Man Gaming Thread: Save some green, man

Condemned:Criminal Origins is $3.74 right now and activates on Steam. I've never played it at all, so I'm excited to play it, especially in the month of Oct.

You're in for a real treat. It's a great horror game.

I rebought it for Steam as I only have it for Amazon.com currently and their downloader sucks.

Oh God isn't it just *shudders*. Still it made it easy to make the resolution to never buy from them again *evil grin*.

In brighter news, I have Condemned in my Steam backlog. I considered firing it up to play yesterday but settled on Dead Space instead which is duly scaring the living crap out of me :D.
 
So I pre-ordered BF4 through green man and this is my first time pre-ordering anything through them. I asked them if they had any idea when they would send out their keys so I could pre-load on Origin and they're saying they would try to get them out early, but more than likely they won't go out until launch day.

I was wondering for those that have pre-ordered with them before, how likely is it that they will go out ahead of launch? I really don't want to have to download 30gb's on launch day.

I thought the core mechanics worked pretty well with a controller. However the lack of fast travel in the game was such a stupidly huge oversight that I stopped playing due to the backtracking in the first area.

They usually send ahead of launch, they say launch day that way there's no promise to break.

Well, that's reassuring. Thanks. Was worried I'd have to try to cancel my order through them. With all the cash they've saved me I feel dirty even thinking about it. Like cheating on my fiance or something.
 
Trying to preorder Batman using the code, for some reason it keeps giving me an error in the checkout process so the transaction can't be completed. I've seen other people on the Twitters having similar issues, any idea what I can do about it?
 
So has anyone got their BF4 premium code to work? I try to redeem the code in Origin but it says an error has occurred. I went to the support page and it says the codes will be in your account when premium is available but my key doesn't work. Is this just a place holder key or did I get a bad key?
 
My BF4 Premium key worked fine. Try contacting origin support to see if its a problem with origin first I guess? They'll be able to tell you if the key is valid or not as well, and then contact GMG from there.
 
GMG offered me a 25% discount code for AC4 Black Flag which works with the Deluxe edition.
Is the code tied to my account or can I give it anyone and they can use it to buy the game?
 
Hey guys

I have a question about buying Ubisoft (North america) games on GMG. Do they give us CD-keys to enter in UPLAY or do we have to go through the Capsule client thing?

Yeah there was no mention of Steam Client needed in description that's why I was curious about UPLAY. In the past, I couldn't get Capsule work so I'm avoiding it.

Still, they give a 13$ store credit for AC4. So you get it for 46$. Don't think we can get any better deals in North America as vouchers won't work.
 
Ubisoft doesn't sell Steam keys through third party sites. You have to buy directly through Steam to get Ubi games on Steam. Even then, when you run them they just launch the game through UPlay.

Grabbed that one too a few days ago in the Sale.
It's pretty hard. Playing it on "Medium" and needed a good amount of time to master the Amazon Stage. But once you know the level it's getting easier.
