Yep that's the UK date. Personally I'm expecting we'll be given the steam key before Tuesday, anything after that is unacceptable though.

You just missed the coupons for 15% off about a week ago.

We haven't got our codes yet and the game is up for pre-load on Steam.

Skyrim is special, as are EA's games. Some EA games only exist on gmg.co.uk, Battlefield 3 for example. Not sure what Skyrim's deal is (languages maybe?), but it's not common and it shouldn't be any problem with Steam.

This is typical of GMG in my experience. Theres a 12 page thread on their forum asking questions about the SR3 release and the only staff post in it is a boilerplate response from one of the forum mods. My experience with GMG as a whole has been more annoying than pleasant, tbh. The poor communication and support really sours me on using them despite their pricing and discounts.

Yep. Another downside of ordering from them is their no refund policy, even for preorders/keys you haven't been given yet.

Yes, I believe it just counts as a steam pre-order. So also tf2 items.

I know I'm just saying if they answered the question on when we were going to receive the key it wouldn't have been a big deal. Just a simple "keys will release soon" would have been sufficient, instead of not saying anything at all.

If there is one thing GMG has done poorly, its been communicating these changes. It happened with the Australian LA Noire release as well. No communication at all from GMG.

Well based on dead island, we may get our codes when the game releases in Europe. Since we got our bloodbath dlc codes on the Friday it came out in Europe as well.

Yeah they have being behind the ball latetly. If the the DLC issue was THQ's or their fault then a simple message on their fourms/twitter/facebook or on Gaf would of being appreated.

Problem is because of timezones when an ef up happens we in the southern hemisphere are the ones that have to wait the longest for a resolution.

how do i gift a game to a friend? i want to play lara croft guardians of light with co-op.

i bought a copy for myself and it registered fine. i don't see anyway to gift, and when i try with a 2nd account, it says, paypal address must match email of GMG account.

what to do? or am i just missing something?

Yep, according to their site it was released on Nov 15, according to Capsule it's available now, but it's not there. On the store page with the buy link it says it is now available. At that point it's just misleading advertising. Green Man really needs to sort this kind of thing out.

The customer service for them is pretty damn good. I sent them an email because I thought L.A. Noire was a Steam activated game. After I sent them the email, I realized this when one of the users here pointed it out to me. The next day they responded and said "yeah, it is not steam as it is listed, but we understand the confusion, here is $15.00 credit".

I emailed them back saying pretty much I was a dumbass and dont feel I am entitled to a coupon worth 15.00. They said to keep it because they value my business with them.

That is pretty nice of them. Anyways, just wanted to share that little story. I have been saving alot of money with them on new releases.
