Ubisoft and UK digital distribution have had some troubles between them for some reason (see AC3 not being released on Steam UK).

I bought it two weeks ago, but I usually just play for fun or when having friends over, so my expectations might be different from yours. The complexity is pretty solid with a buttload of stuff to do/alter (as always). However, there are still issues in terms of:
- Roster updates and some missing minor players
- Somehow the AI gets offensive rebounds very easily
- Opponent AI is somehow a master at going after loose balls, while one's own AI just stands around looking at a loose ball
Those are my immediate gripes so far. There are probably better people in the official thread who can give a more accurate assessment of the game than me.

Cool. Thanks. Seems to be the typical 2K bugs, but since I had to skip out on 2K12 last year and the season has started I've been really wanting to pick this up.
Some of the issues can be fixed if you just mess with the sliders, so it'll probably be fine.

There's always been rumors of Game being assholes about Steam. First it was a rumor of THQ having their games blocked before launch on Steam in the UK, and now Ubisoft are playing coy about UK releases.
No smoke without fire and all that.

It doesn't even make sense, how can they be pissed off about a market they put much effort into?
Amazon UK or Shopto (although the latter is happy to sell download codes for steamworks titles) make more sense, but not Game.

No, because each download copy = 1 less physical copy. GAME, Gamestop, etc. make their profits by dealing with used copies.

The problem here is you generally can't return PC Games due to DRM. Unless they think supporting DD on PC will result in DD being pushed more on console?
Really loving Dishonored. Great new flavor and spin on the third-person assassin/stealth game that's been a staple category for so many years.

Yeah I'm enjoying Dishonored quite a bit but I think Deus Ex HR did it better. Just ignore the lame boss fights.

DE:HR was my GOTY 2011 by far (Dark Souls a close second) and I enjoyed Dishonored very much. I like stealth games.

Thanks! Just got LEGO LotR for $21. It'll probably be $10 soon BUT SO WHAT, I want it :3 (Btw, LEGO LotR has steam achievements and steam cloud -- first for a LEGO game!)

Nice!!! I'm tempted to put this towards COH2 and then put the 35% voucher you get towards Tomb Raider, but I don't know how much I want TR, and I've got a feeling we'll get better deals on COH2 towards release.
A few unremarkable exceptions aside (e.g. Bloody Good Time), GMG doesn't sell Ubi games outside of the UK/EU.
