I mean, when you're using Twitter it's a button that's literally right there. It's convenient to get additional context or ask questions.

It just seems much less reliable over the past week. I'm talking borderline broken because the responses sometimes aren't relevant to the tweet.

It's pretty much a shitty search engine to advertise actual Grok and Elon will probably keep crippling it more and more to save on costs. It being shit makes sense too, it doesn't have a paid version on twitter and people keep spamming it in every goddamn post. The strategy though seems dumb, this trash surely gives a bad name to Grok, right? No way people don't notice, right?

Yes, it's very obviously a shitty search engine but I doubt many people care. It just needs to be convenient, like the shitty AI in Google searches.

I haven't noticed a change with Twitter Grok. And the Grok button you can click to get context on a tweet has always sucked if the tweet has a picture or video because I'm pretty sure it trawls comments to decipher what the picture/video is because its image processing blows, and those comments are from bots and dumb people.

It's pretty handy if the tweet is text-based, though.

Generally, right now it's Grok, but that could change as soon as the end of this month with Gemini.

It also depends on what you are doing, Gemini is capable of processing 1 million tokens.

Gemini uses Google Search and Grok uses X + other pre-training.

This will be vastly different come November/December and I'm excited about the increase of unified multimodality of these LLMs coming next year. We should also see increased memory, less hallucinations and more factually accurate LLMs.

I generally use Grok first, occasionally cross check with aistudio.google.com . For coding I used Alibaba or Groq hosted qwen or claude in roocode extension in vscode

OpenAI isnt my thing

In my questions (tech stuff) chatgpt is still the best, grok now is the second and deepseek is with bronze.
