What is the context of this? Looks like its a twitter post with no context or lead up at all. We also don't know what country this is from.
Isn't the UK in some crazy lockdown mode where they have cameras everywhere, and a license/id for breathing?
In the USA this battle was fault years ago, with ersb creation. Have we gone back to that again?
Don't get me wrong, I think kids playing GTA online or GTA at all is crazy. I remember when my son was 10 and dropping him over at a friends house. They had 3 boys all under 12 playing GTA5. Going into strip joints and shooting shit. I told the mom that he can't play that, she didn't get it and threw a fit ( a grown woman, well If you call some trashy single mom a grown woman). Obviously this lady wasn't parenting and letting the machines be her babysitter while she chatted up men online (probably doing OF today, lol).
Luckily my son understood. Why, because I was honest with him on this and most things. I let him know that at some point he could play those games, but that today wasn't the time as there were age innaprporiate stuff for a kid and that his friends mom was being "a bad mom". It also helped that I let him play other games with less adult content, but similar open world. He had the infamous games, lego city undercover on ps3. Plus on PC he had Gary's mod., and soon Minecraft and Roblox. A few years later I let him play GTA, when I though he was mature enough for it.
Seriously what is the solution with shit parents who don't properly parent their kids? It is why you can go into cod or whatnot and some 10 year old is screaming into the mic while rap music is basting in the background, ruining online gaming for all. I am not fond of id giving, but I am in my 40s I could care less if kids can't play gta online. As long as single player doesn't need these checks, but there is the slippery slope....
