When someone actually does get the game they're going to either post a screenshot of the map or a short video of them play it. Something that'll prove that they actually do have it. Screenshots of discs or boxarts are easy to fake, so that's not what they'd show as proof.

played on pc for 30 minutes
its pretty cool, i like the upgrades for the superpowers but the maps feels so empty.
Argh, stop reminding me.
I liked it a lot, but still have to do the final mission.

Just preordered on PSN. I may end up not loving it, but with GTA games usually I get at least sixty bucks of fun outta them regardless f whether I end up loving them or not.
GTA4 I liked but didn't love...loved Red Dead Redemption so I'm hopeful.

Played about 15 hours thus far, and I'm enjoying it. But holy goodness, Steelport is a shit city. The amazing traversal options and superpowers make my character feel like a total badass, but I can't get over the fact that I still hate Steelport!
100%ed SR3 twice, out of pure apathy. I think their take on superpowers is way more fun in IV than Prototype/Crackdown/inFamous and there are some great references to the franchise. But I can't see myself revisiting it once GTA actually comes out!

That's about all it has going for it sadly. They still don't know to design missions, side content or a fun open world city.
I chose Nolan North as my character voice and from what I can tell they play it off as Nolan North playing himself, as opposed to a character. That's funny and actually seemed pretty clever. Other than that, I've been over their "humour" since Saints Row 2.
The game is actually awesome, but you are in a GTA thread. A new challenger is not welcome!

God, it is one of the worst cities I've ever seen in an open world game.

Saints row cities are pretty boring and not even close to the quality of a GTA open world game. Rockstar has more creativity in their left nut than Volition has in their whole body
Yup and they didn't even port over a day/night system. Too busy making boring powers and pressing enter on their random orb generator.

Even as a huge GTA fan, Saint's Row 2 is still one of the best in that series. I found that game to be really fun.
It's why I'm so hyped for Star Citizen. I'm not sure it's going to be exactly like Freespace, but still looks like a ton of fun. I miss all the quality space games we used to get.

That's fine. Just not into the series personally (though I actually beat SR 2, liked it a lot more than 3 and 4).

The point for pirates is for somebody to rip it and share. That's why they are so interest in it being real.
Yeah, I really enjoyed Saints Row 2. It had a good balance between serious and stupid.
