Can I run GTAV with an i3 2100? My video card is definitely up to snuff (7970).
I never played GTAV enough to know much about it but I heard there was very little to no hard rock and metal. Like the Lost and Damned DLC had.Wasn't Channel X metal?
I dont know shit about metal lol

I don't care about how high the high settings can go, but how low the lower ones can go. I won't be satisfied unless I can run 60fps on my laptop.
Bam, that's where I'll put the new Kendrick Lamar albumConfirmed to be in the game. Station is called Self Radio.

I assume that I need to upgrade my processor which is an i3-2120 Sandy Bridge Dual Core 3.3GHz huh?
My graphics card should suffice (Radeon HD 7950 3GB)
It all comes down to how optimized it is. Oh and good SLI driver needs to be ready day one. 😊I am expecting nothing less than a max Payne 3 quality port here.
Maxing out everything tho no fuks given
Unless a setting is broken..
And also, borderless window? Is ther 21:9 support?
Is ther 21:9 support?
I added more details about Self Radio from a Game Informer article a couple posts earlier...no idea if that's worth a thread or not so I won't take the chance of making one
also I can make a Run The Jewels station...hooray
Worst case scenario you'll just have to use a program to force it, so it isn't too much of a big deal. And also, borderless window?

I don't think I'm gonna use borderless window for this beast though. Purely because I want to be able to record stuff with Nvidia Shadowplay, and Shadowplay won't detect games unless they're fullscreen. Makes me sad.
It does, I use it all the time.Wouldn't letting ShadowPlay record the desktop work for borderless fullscreen games?
Yup, however it doesn't capture any audio (at least from my experience). If anyone knows a way around this please let me know haha.Wouldn't letting ShadowPlay record the desktop work for borderless fullscreen games?
Hmm, I don't really know a way around it, since it "just works" (TM) for me. I guess what I can tell you is that it can workYup, however it doesn't capture any audio (at least from my experience). If anyone knows a way around this please let me know haha.
I feel like its thread worthy. This is big time.
You tell me cause I don't really know about pc specs and stuff. I don't really mind lowering resolution and settings as long as the game runs smoothly without overheating my laptop. Some specs that cyri pulled from my laptop:Unless you've got a chunky beast of a laptop then you are pretty unreasonable to satisfy
Setting everything to max is going to wreck the fps. I hope people have realistic expectations.
You know they don't.
Wasn't Channel X metal?

People with high end GPUs will fling everything to max then complain it is "unoptimised" disregarding the actual cost of the different effects they're cranking up.
It happens all the time and it's so frustrating.
Oh wow! Okay this is good news and bad news. Good because it works. Bad because I have no idea how to make it work.Hmm, I don't really know a way around it, since it "just works" (TM) for me. I guess what I can tell you is that it can work![]()
VRAM is not additive.
If you feel like it's worth it's own thread then go ahead and make one...or someone else/a mod can
So....will I be OK?

Posted a thread about it.
GTA 5 PC Custom Radio Station Details (Self Radio)
Depends what you mean by hold up. You exceed the recommended specs assuming that crossfire works properly, but what 'recommended' means in regards to what frame rate you'll get at what settings, we don't really know yet.

Is ther 21:9 support?
I wish SMAA was present, but I'll I'll have to take the performance hit of 2x MSAA
Thanks. I guess I'll try and wait for some benchmarks.
Problem is lately I've been having trouble finding performance info for my cards (probably because they're about 4 years old now) so it's really hard to get a good idea how games will run on my system.
Part of why I haven't bought a PC game in quite some time.
You will be able to run games at 1080p/60 for many years to come. It just depends on what settings you are willing to compromise. Hint: AO should always be the first to go, expensive and difficult to notice in motion.
