Nah, that's a very fair point. Especially if you change servers later down the line.

Exactly. I like knowing that my effort in getting an awesome-sounding name means nobody else is traipsing around with it. Selfish, maybe, but I don't like the idea of a bunch of people with my name running around. It's not so much a matter of reputation as it is I just want to stand out for having a cool name nobody else has.

Hmmm...

I'm getting the same "your system does not meet minimum system requirements" message that was added in the last patch. However, Can You Run It claims I should be able to run the game well. Wasn't getting this before the patch and the game ran well when graphics werent on high. Could they maybe be having issues with that message?

Oh, that's pretty odd. I guess Anet sees them as early adopters. But still, GW2 is a completely new game.
 
So was looking at some Thief builds

Is there a viable PVP build and then PVE build?? (Correct me if im wrong and should not be thinking like that)


I read some info on the condition damage build that seemed OP in BWE-1 , but heard it got the nerf bat in BWE-3.

So is there a golden standard yet for thief specs??

In all seriousness when I played the first BWE's I wasn't very hyped for GW2 though having now tried the other races and classes I can definitely see lots of fun and potential in this game so now I'm glad I pre-purchased it, the Sylvari area was just mindblowing! :D

For about a year now I was pretty set on "What's your story", but the whole OT is being made to attract new people who have no idea what the game is. With that in mind, I've been playing this genre for a decade now and you wouldn't believe how many people don't even look at MMOs or threads for them because the good ones all have fees. So that's why I'm going with Guild Wars 2 |OT| Buy the box, play forever

Wouldn't be better: "Buy the game, play forever" ? Digital version doesn't come in a box :P.

I like really dumb names, descriptions of things, and bad puns for character names, so no need to reserve names or stress about someone stealing Sephiroth or Jon Snow from me.
