This thread is insane. I check here obsessively for new vids and info, and you people still leave me behind five pages or more. The avalanche of beta footage and Jira's info just keeps piling up.
I'm set on a necromancer, and I was dabbling with something like
this.
The goal: bolstering Death Shroud in order to be an unstoppable cloud of sickening death, sweeping the battlefield.
Not certain about my healing priorities, though. I went with the pet because it has the fastest heal available and I'm paranoid about that shit, but I'm guessing since I'll be relying on Death Shroud and fast Life Force accumulation I won't need a straight heal that often. Also, popping Death Shroud dismisses minions, so I'm probably shooting myself in the foot.
Not needing a straight heal as often would also make Signet of the Locust obsolete to a certain extent and make Consume Conditions a more viable option in combination with Plague Signet.
But I'm not certain on how Consume Conditions actually works - does it feast on conditions you applied or on conditions placed on you; I'm assuming the latter - and I'm wondering if Plague Signet wouldn't be more of a curse than a blessing on the whole.
A final option would be Well of Blood with Signet of Undeath, but WoB has a long cooldown and like I said, I'm paranoid about that shit.
Also not sure about Well of Corruption now. I picked it because the latest tooltip made it seem like it had a direct damage component as well. It works with the off-hand dagger skill to increase damage per Condition, but if I'm using Well of Blood as well, they might interfere.
So I suppose I'm not certain about my 6 to 9 skill selection. But on that note, how easily can we switch these skills out? Is being out of combat the only requirement? That would make things a lot more fluid.
Any feedback?
