Exactly. I thought GH3 was a pretty decent game even without HMX's involvement but it's been all down hill from there.

I don't even hate the series, even with all the gross stuff like putting dead rock stars in their game and the whoring out of the series. They're fun enough to play and they've got some classic songs in their catalogue but what kills the appeal of the series for me is that it just pales in comparison to Rock Band in almost every way. The gap seems to be growing even more with Rock Band evolving (keyboards, pro mode, harmonies) while Guitar Hero remains the same.

Alot of those songs are already in RB or will be soon.....I'll rent it if it comes out before RB3 and play it for a few days then move on just like I've done with the series since GH3.

Just look at what RB3 is bringing to the table and compare it to GH warriors. Everyone who likes music games should buy RB3

It was really hard for me to see the notes in GHWT on an SD TV... I played Metallica on an HDTV and it was much better, but I'm not really sure if it was because of it being an HDTV, or if it was just easier. Any idea?

It's not Neversoft's fault you suck.

But it is Neversoft's fault if their engine is faulty and their charting is shit. (But has improved over the years, but still sucks in general).

Looking over the setlist, put me in the "meh" column. There are some gems in there that are not in Rock Band (yet), such as "2112" and "Fascination Street" (give me entire "Disintegration" album in RB please), but overall the setlist is probably the most underwhelming in a GH yet.

Thank God Dragonforce is returning. I'm not a huge fan of them outside of Guitar Hero, but their songs are fucking fun IN Guitar Hero. Great for online matches.

I like a lot of those songs, but WTF at Nickelback and Orianthi? Fuck outta here.

I'm one of the few people that actually really enjoyed Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock for what it is I guess (a fun guitar hero game).

This thread doesn't have any info about the recent DLC released up till this month so I will just leave this link here:

Hopefully now that Guitar Hero has been put on "hiatus" the price of the past games will drop and more people online will have all the "imports".

I highly recommend getting "Telephantasm" given the fact Rock Band 3 can't play Spoonman or Black Hole Sun.
