Nintendo Downloads - October 2015

If you purchase The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes from Nintendo eShop before 19/11/2015 at 23:59 (UK time), you can also receive a bonus 'Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes: Totem Team' HOME Menu Theme.****

They need to offer a 'Buy TriForce Heroes from the eShop and receive a download code for a copy of Four Swords Anniversary' promotion. That game's worth getting out to more people, but then most who would download Three Swords probably already had a DSi or 3DS to get Four Swords.

Retail carts should include these free themes, too. I know NES Remix did. Ah, well. Happy to stick with my Mario Christmas theme.

If you read the article, you'll see that it got a PEGI rating. The version on the German eShop has English language support too. Just a matter of time and Deep Silver getting over their weirdness.

Yeah, you're probably right, time will tell, I find that a game like this would fit the Gamepad, and I would actually play it (if its used right).

zacisa already on sale, eh? well, i was happy to support the game at full price. get on that sale price, peeps!

Well, for the EU audience it has been 8 weeks since launch, with the 1st week having a sale (So 7 weeks). So it has been a while. Heck, besides the lackluster 1-week sale for NA 3 weeks ago, NA hasn't had one since early July.

Trying to find a good balance between sales and no sales. Finding that unless your a big indie with a hype game (Runbow, Shovel Knight) or just a popular indie anyways (Curve), trying to rarely do a sale is just not a good idea. I actually tried that for NA last 4 months which had just a 1-week sale, was a very bad idea. :lol. So, a better balance is needed.

I really need to get a new game out. Luckily do have a new one coming early 2016 and a big one from me 1st half in 2016! Might have a trailer for both soon. ;)

Holy shit! After 2.865 years Tekken Tag 2 finally on sale on NA... so bought

Yep, came here to make a similar post. Now the only launch period games I want to go on sale on the eshop in the US are Nintendoland (which I'm literally waiting for it to go on sale, nevermind a lower price) and Ken's Rage 2, which is still 50 bucks and I'm pretty sure has never had a single price reduction.

Nintendoland isn't available for purchase on eShop in the USA, for quite some time now, actually. It sucks, I know.

I'm still waiting for Sonic Transformed to go on sale in the WiiU eshop, I've lost count of how many times its been discounted on PSN.

I know, my post is worded strangely. I had heard about the price drop as the post below mentions and was going to pick it up digitally that very day, having just recently gotten a decent trade in value for it because of a promotion.

Two.

^came out on 3DS VC world wide. So a Wii U VC release is in the cards. Baffling that it hasn't happened yet.

Oh woah, more Zapper titles? Wonder when the US will get them. Think they'll keep the option of triggering the crosshair on & off like in Duck Hunt?

More Zapper games are nice and more are probably coming too given Gumshoe and Adventures of Bayou Billy were in the eShop database leak. Personally though I'm ready for the VC team to move on to Super Scope and SNES Mouse.

Well this is some silliness.
I got DBZ E. Butoden from Amazon.co.uk and the Customer Q&A stated taht it comes with the Super Butoden 2 eShop code
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B012F95M56/

I don't live in the UK and use aramex to ship games to me here in Oman.

My order came but I couldn't find anything resembling an eShop code.

Currently speaking with Amazon UK support to try and get this resovled.

Apparently the person I'm talking to isn't aware that the pre-order thing applies to EU purchases; they think it applies to Amazon.com only.
...when right there on the game's page is info stating that IT DOES come with pre-order code :p

Let's see if this fellow can help me get that code.

Yeah that's what the amazon rep told me.
I informed them they should moderate the Q&A so this ish don't happen again.

Sadly it seems that Amazon.co.uk don't endore the Pre-order bonus and never offered it :/
They did say I could refund the game though, but where would I find a copy of it that comes with the Super Butoden code?
That game doesn't appear on the EU eShop >_>;

For NES Zapper, I'd just buy Gumshoe. (Can finally beat it!) I'd be all over Super Scope games, though. Yoshi's Safari, Battle Clash, Metal Combat: Falcon's Revenge (Battle Clash II), Super Scope 6 (the game that came with the Super Scope). Those are the ones I have and would buy again. Not sure if there are any others worth mentioning for Super Scope, though.

What are the chances of Extreme Butoden releasing at Midnight in US eShop? Do 3rd-party games even do midnight releases?

Zonic

Not really, no. It's mainly 1st party titles that get midnight releases. I can't think of a 3rd party game that actually released at midnight unless Nintendo was somehow involved.

Bonk titles on Nintendo platforms:

- Bonk's Adventure (NES & GB)
- Bonk's Revenge (GB)
- Super Bonk (SNES)
- GB Genjin Land: Viva! Chikkun Ōkoku (GB, Japan only)
- Super Bonk 2 (Super Famicom, Japan only)

So yeah, Bonk's Adventure is most likely the NES version.

Very likely the NES version.

I doubt it. Bonk's Adventure came out on NES too no?

From the thread I linked...

Somebody pointed out that under platforms the following is listed: PlayStation 3, PSP, Wii, Wii U.
Unless those systems are receiving the NES game then this must be the TurboGrafx-16/PC-Engine version.

The first PCE/TG-16 title released in the Japanese Wii U VC was Bonk's Adventure. The NES version has not been released there.

Just sayin'.

On October 21st, 2015, Marty will walk into Cafe 80s and play...

Wild Gunman.

I'm curious as to whether or not NOA will take advantage, or even be aware, of this.

$10 for EO4 is a steal. I happily sunk like 70 hours into it barely scratched the post-game stuff. Everyone buy it if you haven't already.

Agreed, but if they made the shim to have Zapper work with Wii U VC they should reuse the code as much as reasonable, though looking at the list of Zapper games the list is small.

Ask me about the GAF Notebook
So I picked up Gravity Falls. They only had 1 copy at the store I went too, and I got it.

This is definitely gonna be one of those hard to find 3ds games I think that might just go straight to the bargain bin at Walmart never to be seen again.

Can post impressions later if anyone cares.
