Pretty neat, I enjoyed the first season after seeing the thread on GAF. Neat different take on a Gundam show that I was pleased wasn't in the vein of Wing/Seed/Destiny as I prefer UC Gundam.

Speaking of which I would love a return to something along the lines of Stardust Memory/War in the Pocket/Char's Counterattack. Loved that shit and the animation/style from back then still hasn't been topped imo.

I'm kind of bummed the Japanese Blu-Ray discs did not have english subs like the Japanese Age and Unicorn discs.

I was willing to buy all of them.

Great to hear though I'm curious if we'll have a new main with the original leads in a supporting role or the continuing journey of Iori Sei and Reiji.

I'd personally prefer the latter though since they're champs I don't know how much farther you can go unless people from Reiji's world get involved and are all aces.

It does count and I enjoyed it but stylistically it feels like it veers a bit too far into the whole "anime look" and the emotionally conflicted teen angle got old with me too fast considering it's a mini series. Also I know the anime look line is a dumb thing to say given the context but when you compare something like Stardust Memory to say 08th MS Team (which I also love) or even Unicorn you can see what I mean. The larger eyes, the hairstyles etc, it's just a preference thing and only really applies to the characters and as I mentioned 08th MS it's not as though I can't enjoy a show in spite of that.

To your other point I do prefer hand drawn, digital looks alright at times for me but overall it doesn't compare to good hand drawn work.

That's fair. I understand what you're getting at, although I do think Unicorn is hewing as close to the original style as it can without being off-putting.

It's pretty crazy how soon we are getting a season 2 for BF. This really says a lot about BF compare to all the other gundam series imo.

The second season of 00 aired 6 months after the first ended
