SoJunya is gonna steal them eh? That's kinda predictable.
Are actual SD toys able to unfold/transform into reals?
The laws of conservation of mass deem no (at least not the way Star Winning does it).

That's nonsense. We already figured out the transformation since it was first shown. The parts are all in the backpack. It's totally physically possible.
What doesn't work is the scale for the 3-headed-dragon thing. It's nonsense because it got HUGE after the transformation, but the base base is made out of... two SD bodies, which should be tiny. Somehow it just grew in size.
No it doesn't I'm sorry look at the dimensions for the SD Gundam and look at the Dimensions for the Real and you'll see it doesn't line up even if you assume the whole thing was pretty much hollow. It's possible to create a Real from an SD but the way it Fumina does it.

Hollow? What are you talking about? The Real is just created by extending the arms and the legs with the backpack parts. The backpack contains two arm extensions and two leg extensions, and is about the size of the entire SD body itself even when folded up. The SD head comes off, with a smaller Real sized head inside, and the SD Head folds up to create the new smaller backpack.
I think it's more ridiculous that Fumina can fit funnels and bits into her legs.
And these parts can also combine with guns to increase their output.
I don't understand why you would think that. It makes perfect sense to me. There's even a model kit coming out
Also, the waist piece is in the backpack as well.
Each of the bits has a GN drive in it, so it kind of makes sense in an OP bullshit sort of way
Now I REAALLY want an MG treatment of Star Winning

Dat winning beam [cringe]
Yes I saw that, which proves my point, The comparative dimensions aren't the same especially with the backpack real mode has..
Yeah the castle thing was so dumb.It took the Try Fighters no effort to destroy the castle once they were outside... why couldn't they have just done that in the beginning! I try to just go with the stories they write but just didn't like that castle bit. Or SD team...
I think only the legs are bits? She calls the stabby things funnels.
I'm curious, what parts don't match?
But those are the arms!

The dimensions within the anime itself I could do the comparative dimensions analysis but it should be obvious even to you that wining gundam isn't near half the height of real mode in the anime.
You're wrong. The backpack for the Real mode is JUST the SD head of the Star Winning. It's pretty huge. Lemme show you the comparison between the Winning Gundam's SD head transformed into the plane/backpack, and the 1/144 RG Exia:

Again I'm talking about the anime itself and that's the transformed anyway I'm talking about the standard size. You could compare the size of real Modes back to that and it come off quite favourably.
This is what Winning's head looks like when attached to its back:

It looks pretty much the same! I think you're underestimating how big SD parts are and how they can look very different when unfolded and tweaked a little. That's part of what makes them so fun to build and play with when the kit has interesting gimmicks designed in it.
Except one is SD mode whereas the other is not (the width and height bulk really isn't there in battle mode) that's what I mean by the dimensions, that's ignoring the obvious difference perspective would play on it.
Anyways, how cool would it be to have an MG winning? Seriously.
Imagine that internal skeleton, and LEDs for all the GN drives.
*drools*

MG is 1/100 though. The scale difference would ruin the SD scaling, because SD kits are about 1/2 the height of HG kits (instead of being scaled to the dimensions of a supposed "real" robot). It would result in a nice looking Real Mode, but the SD Mode would be oversized.
What do you mean? The torso width is the same in both modes. The height increase is due to the waist being tucked into the backpack in SD mode, and rotating or attaching to the torso in real mode.
I don't care about that rmuch. It would be the right scale with my other 1/100 kits especially if they release an MG Lightning. I would probably buy the Burning as well just to complete the set, but I don't care so much about that model.

I really don't understand what you're saying. The body frame for the SD Mode and the Real Mode are exactly the same. It's the same body. The bodies of SD kits are about the same width as the bodies of HG kits. They're just a little bulkier because they're made up of less parts due to the cost. The size difference for SD is entirely in the height, not in the width.
Sure, but Bandai cares when making some of these decisions! Scale and quality of build for each of the individual lines are very important to them, which is why they would make a new RE-100 line to release a 1/100 Ninghtingale, since they can't justify the cost of a MG quality kit. I think if they consider releasing a more advanced Star Winning, it will probably be under some other label, or no label at all. So it's possible, but just not a MG.
LOL at Sei making China fly all the way to Japan just to drop off some spare parts.
While else would you have a Dark Burning?SoJunya is gonna steal them eh? That's kinda predictable.
I'm not talking about the kits truth be told I've never even seen these kits prior to the conservation, I'm talking about the transformation in the anime, the dimensions of the SD gundam before the transformation and the dimensions of the real mode afterwards using comparative scales .
The kits can and will be consistent with conservation of mass (because it obviously has to), I don't think the anime was.
Great episode. Just makes me more hype for the Star Winning Gundam I ordered.
Glad I didn't get Winning Gundam, its old and busted status now.
...You'll regret it when I use my Winning Gundam to create enhanced weapons for my Star Winning Gundam!!!!
Wow.
Battle aside, lots of backstory and stuff, especially for Build Burning.
Regarding Sekai's Teacher,I wonder if it really is Reiji wearing a Domon costume. If even Sei points out that they have similar fighting styles.
Speaking of, Jun-nii is kind of a jerk.Master didn't teach me the secret technique that Sekai learned on his own so I'm going to have my gang beat up Sekai's friend and steal his spare parts.
Also, Winning Beam best attack.

So what you're trying to say is that Fumina is a genius builder?I think it's more ridiculous that Fumina can fit funnels and bits into her legs.
And these parts can also combine with guns to increase their output.
And they combine with each other to turn into laser shurikens.
And they can output a shield like Unicorn or Mercurius
Yeah but did she win the artistic gunpla competition? I don't think so.
Meanwhile, Yuuma has... a backpack. Like we haven't seen enough of those in S1.
Fixed and stuff. If you didn't win the artistic gunpla competition you ain't shit.
