I think that's my one problem with this finale.
Other than that, the whole thing was just crazy fun.

They changed the format of world's to a team format. Sei would not team up with anyone but Reiji, so that's why he stopped winning world championships. #makingupstuff
Sei is third member of team Kawaguchi. So he didn't stop winning... just wasn't as Sei Iori. Just guessing.
I feel they left it open, for all we know they just increased the number of qualifier slots and they will all be competing individually.

They episode was just stupid fun. Lightning Zeta is probably my favorite suit in the whole series. It looks like one of those bootleg kits you can buy. Love me some Zeta Gundam.

I am super tempted to go with a red scheme for Hi-Nu Vrabe though... but not as Trans-Ammy as this one:
You just made me realize how trans-am most of Char's 0079 suits color was. He didn't get an actually red suit until Sazabi.
