Splitting hairs over this. Come on, he is giving out free food...
Please let me know if you can think of a better way to cook enough food to feed a whole bunch of people at the same time without a smoker or giant grill..
Optics concern trolling be damned when the dude is feeding people.
Dude might look like he was struck by lightning while drinking mountain dew, but this is awesome and generous of him. Good guy Guy
Yea, this "story" is a little sillyOut of respect, no flames should be used in cooking for the duration of the disaster.
Bleaching hairs over this. Come on, he is giving out free food...
Dude seems to get a bad rap sometimes.
Is there no other way to cook meat outdoors? How long should the displaced be forced to eat cold food before it becomes appropriate to eat something touched by heat, fire, or smoke again?
Lol at the knee-jerk reactions and Guy Fieri Haters.

Disappoints me that just because he dresses funny and talks funny, people have a ton of vitriol against someone who seems like a genuinely good person.
A celebrity chef sous vide-ing meals for displaced people would be hilarious in its own way.Look man, I think Fieri is a joke too but... come on. Dude isn't gonna sous vide steaks.
Yep. I think the positives far outweigh any negatives here.Don't really see a problem with it. He's feeding a lot of people that need help.
This is a 'bitch with crackers' situation.
When asked if the barbecue smoker was an appropriate choice considering the smoke and fire in the devastated area, Fieri got defensive. "I don't even have anything to say about that," he told KQED. "That's a ridiculous question. And that's a ridiculous statement. I mean, come on. What do you want me to do?"
OMG it's like serving flood victims soup. This fucking Guy
sarcasm
The more I've watched Guy, the more I've liked him. Say what you want about his aesthetics, but he's confident in who he is and - to the best of my knowledge - hasn't done or said anything to make me question his character.
I can understand people bristling at him bringing a smoker, but come on. The dude's volunteering his time to feed people. Getting critical about his choice of food is beyond silly, especially when it's obvious that he's not doing it as some dumb ironic joke.
Criticism for feeding g people...
Even Jesus would get death threats on twitter.
