GW2 GAFGuild | Community Thread

I don't post often but I will definitely be playing gw2 a lot. Usually I would just pick a random server for a new MMO but joining an established group of people seems more fun :)

Yeah, having a ground to go exploring, PVPing, or just doing random stuff at anytime is always good in an MMO. Really makes the experience.
 
GOOD NEWS! I've finally updated the guild roster up to this point. I was working on a different version but with the new site it just got a little hectic so I updated up to this point in the thread and once Friday hits, all new guild sign ups will be from GAFGuild.com just to make it easier to keep track of.

247 huh. It'll be nice if even half of those people stick around long term. It should be a pretty active guild.

If even half that stays around for a bit, that'll be quite a good bunch of people. More so than a lot of GAF MMOs tend to come up with. I can easilly see us having another 50 people by this coming Friday.

That 247 is not even counting the people on GAFGuild.com that I have yet to add cause Darksiders 2 has me by the balls!

Thanks alot. Registered for guild website but forgot to add my name to the list.

In other news just wasted a ton of time thinking I would get a tormented weapon for doing the run around quest in eye of the north. Pity I didn't know you had to do it for each region, I only have prophecies and eotn. Wah
 
So hyped for this, it hurts my spleen.
Looking forward to doing some WvWvW with you guys.

Will be on US server, in CST time zone. I'm looking forward to exploring in PVE and dabbling in WvWvW! I also signed up on gafguild a couple days ago.

EU gaffers, I cordially invite you to post in the headcount thread.
It would be nice to know a little of you before meeting in-game and it would also be very helpful
to have a more accurate view of our composition and what we're dealing with in terms of planning events.

I'll see all you guys on the 25th. I'm not sure if I should stay up for the midnight launch though. Since I am at EST that means itll launch at 3am for me.

Psh, we're in the same time zone and that's not stopping me. Who needs sleep?

Also, worth noting that ArenaNet has alluded to possibly launching early, possibly 3 hours early. So maybe start spamming that Login button at midnight.
 
Everyone up to here has been added. From now on this week, if you want in please go to the sign up thread on GAFGuild.com and post there. I want to make the sign up process easy to manage and doing it both on here and on the site there makes duplicates way too easy.
 
OP has been updated. Basically once the GW2 OT is moved to community after a month, this thread will be closed and all guild related info will be mostly on GAFGuild.com

Sign ups are closed for now. We are going to be finalizing the member list now. We will open it back up after launch and everything gets settled.
