I remember a pit in Petaluma with friends, maybe 20 years ago, with a giant burly Viking of a man in chain mail to our left, a guy decked out in hockey armor to our right, and a skinny dude in a full, spotless white business suit behind us.Seeing GWAR live still ranks as one of the most entertaining experiences that I've had in my life. He'll certainly be missed.
Crap. I didn't like (or rather, didn't have any interest in, since it's not my sort of music) GWAR, but he seemed like a nice guy.
He had a funny story about how he (and the band) were into D&D, at least until they got better looking groupies. But he still liked it, and wrote a D&D module a couple years ago (which is how I heard of him in the first place).
