I won something in the McDonalds Monopoly contest today!

Instant win on a Satellite radio! I was kinda iffy about that 'cause it was cool, but not something I really needed. Specially since I didn't have a car or anything to put it in.

BUT!

After checking out the site at work and seeing the radio, I checked it again when I got home and saw that they're offering $400 replacement cash on the Sat Radio if you collect the two streets for it soooo, they may have run out of stock..
That'd be WAY better than a Radio!!

Funny thing is too, I almost didn't get the stamp.

I was forced to take lunch at 8pm tonight 'cause of some server outages so I missed the cafeteria. (closes at 8) Went to McDonalds and supersized it to get the stickers and neither cup nor fries had it! I told them the only reason i SS'd it was to get the stickers since I get free pop at work, so they gave me two hashbrown wrappers.

Um... here, at least in New York, the swiper is in front of the cash register, the customer swipes, hits a button indicating credit or debit, and doesn't even have to sign anything.

It's much faster than actually handing over cash and waiting for change, there's zero chance of error, and I get money back to shop at Amazon.com.

Bastards at the closest McDonald's frequently "run out" of the proper packaging with the game pieces, in addition to running one of the fricken SLOWEST restaurants I've ever seen. I was once in there, with maybe 2 parties in front of me, and ended up waiting 15 minutes to get my food. I'd not be surprised if they're stealing the fry boxes and hash brown wrappers for themselves.

Not sure about the states, but in Canada SuperSize Fries and supersize drinks have it, I think the chicken selects, and I know the hashbrowns do.

Speaking of contests, LexisNexis is having another contest at our school, the top prize being an Ipod, but then there is also a 5000 point prize (equivalent to maybe $75 that could be used on Amazon). I think that if I was to win the Ipod, I'd just eBay it and buy a new CPU/mobo. I won a DVD player from them my first year, but according to statistical laws, the occurrence of one event does not make another event less likely, correct?

Well, if you flip a coin 5 times and it is heads every time, I think that getting heads on the 6th flip is rather unlikely. But I'm not entirely sure how that works...

On the 6th try, there is still 50% that it will be head. Doesn't matter if your last 20 flips all landed on heads, you will always have 50% for the next flip.

You have to look at the overall flips to see the unlikelyness for it to be head next time. Then again, you are not trying to see what the odds of over 20 flips, just what the next flip is.

That's funny cause they definately still have SuperSize Fries and drink here in canada, and the pieces only come on those. (For fries and drink)

In Paris on the Champ Elysee McDonalds is bad - too full. I was there in my holidays and it wasn't good.

In Germany, Delmehorst and Bremen it is good, but the Monopoly is stupid. I always only win drinks and things like that...
