It's in an issue. DLSS can reconstruct the actual detail and surpass TAA native on overall sharpness, but the problem is ray tracing quality (amount of rays) is tied to internal resolution. Ray Reconstruction can help to certain extend in DLSSQuality mode, but in DLSS performance mode ray reconstruction filters the lighting way too much and image starts to look like a paint.
Exactly my first thought when I looked at the footage from DF. John plays in 4K/Performance and the picture looks really crappy.
