I've seen the big file, and it looks great. Lighting especially, but there's also an amazing work done on textures and details such as decorators, foliage on the walls, trees, 3d grass and flowers etc. And I love the color palette. When the player goes to the sea side, the photography is fantastic.

From the one screenshot that's loading for me above (Zanzibar), it looks pretty darn good for beta. It looks just about as good as Halo 2 on a pure graphics level (I think the design looks a bit better), and considering we've still got 4-6 months to go it seems a given it'll wind up looking better than Halo 2 at release no doubt.

Also I thought they had said they were NOT doing 32/64 player games?

cause theyre customs only.

They've given the new Zanzibar a very 'clean' style to it. Still haven't watched the video but I prefer what they've d one to the base, but at the moment the beach and the wall seems kinda empty.

okay anyone comparing these, LOW RES screens/videos to Halo 2 is obviously a troll or has never played Halo in their life.

that last screen Tieno posted proves the game is way beyond Halo 2.
